Abstract

The wedge is intended to be fitted between the frame and the opening panel of a window in order to assist in aligning the window within the frame. The wedge comprises a strip of material having a flat horizontal section (4) which lies on the horizontal surface of the window frame, and a vertical section (6) which lies between the frame and the closing face of the window. The lower edge of the vertical section (7) is intended to show beneath the window frame when the adjustment is correct. The strip of material also includes at least one further retaining lip (8-10) which is intended to be received in a channel in the window frame. This keeps the strip in place whilst the window is closed on to it.
