Abstract

The carrier consists of a plate (1) for fastening under the towing ball (in the rear-mounted version). The plate has a projecting tube to receive a tubular arm (2) of smaller dimensions, lying in line with the vehicle's lengthwise axis and locked in place by a transverse pin, with the arm carrying supports (3,4) to which bicycles can be attached. The lengthwise arm (2) can be fitted with between one and four supports, which are held in place by a bracket with a pressure screw, allowing simple assembly and dismantling. Each bicycle support comprises a vertical tube (3) to which a bicycle can be attached by a strap, and an horizontal rail (4) to receive the bicycle's wheels. A panel with a number plate and indicator lights can be attached to the rear of the carrier.
