Avec les manchons à une ou deux broches,il y a le risque de perdre la ou les broches,à moins d'utiliser des broches imperdables beaucoup plus onéreuses.De plus,il faut munir les broches d'un verrouillage pour assurer la sécurité.Les manchons avec "bonhomme" à ressort à boudin sont onéreux, difficiles à réaliser et peu fiables à cause de la rouille ou des salissures qui risquent de bloquer le mécanisme. L'assemblage suivant l'invention représenté sur la figure 1 , comporte un manchon 1 soudé sur le tube 2 ,dans lequel vient s'emboiter le tube 3 .Le verrou est constitué par deux ergots 4a et 4b réunis par une lame-ressort 5 en forme de U. En position de serrouillagesles ergots 4a et 4b sont respectivement engagés simultanément dans les trous 6a et 6b percés dans le manchon 1 et dans les trous Ta et 7b percés dans le tube 3 . Pour déverrouiller, on presse simultanément les ergots 4a et 4b pour les dégager des trous 6a et 6b,ce qui permet de retirer le tube 3 dans lequel le verrou reste prisonnier par ses ergots 4a et 4b qui restent engagés dans les trous 7a et 7b du tube 3.
