Abstract

The wooden staircase comprises steps of single filled parts through which pass oval channels (3,4). A threaded rod (5) is passed through the oval channel (3) of one step part (n) and through the oval section (4) of step element (n+1).The threaded rod allows adjustment of the height of one part (n) relative to another part (n+1). It is fastened at its ends by a washer and a nut (7), thus compressing the two parts. The nut and washer can be concealed by a protective cap.
