Abstract

An elevator to raise the height of a lavatory bowl rim (6) consists of a body made from a thermally moulded PVC skin injected with an inner filling of polyurethane foam, shaped to fit over the rim of the lavatory bowl by means of inner (2) and outer (3) lips round its lower edge, with the outer lip projecting further than the inner one. The outer moulded skin of the elevator can be assembled from two shells with joining lines along the lower edge of the inner lip and between the body and outer lip.
