From CH 657 978 A5 a base is known, which is connected in a conventional manner at its rear end with a toilet bowl. A cleaning of the base is tedious and time-consuming, especially in its attachment area to the toilet bowl.

Proceeding from this, the present invention seeks to provide a toilet seat assembly that is easy to clean, which can be easily and safely attached while being comfortable to use.

This object is achieved in that the attachment of the base to the toilet bowl is done exclusively by rest of the base on the upper edge of the toilet bowl and by conditioning of the edge portion of the upper edge of the toilet bowl.

With the toilet seat assembly according to the invention can be dispensed with in the usual manner provided fastening means in the rear region of the base, for example, screw.
