Abstract

The sock, esp. designed to be worn with boots, has a top section which covers the lower part of the wearer's leg or trousers, and an additional top section which folds down over the top of the boot and prevents any foreign bodies, such as stones, soil or twigs, from getting in. The sock is made in one piece, with a single foot and a double upper end, the additional (outer) upper section starting at a point just above the level of the boot top.
