Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil pour le traitement du linge (1), tel qu'un lave-linge ou un sèche-linge, comportant un bâti (2), un tambour monté à l'intérieur de ce bâti de manière rotative autour d'un arbre à palier, et un entraînement (4) électromotorisé qui entraîne ledit tambour. L'entraînement (4) est constitué d'un rotor (10) dynamiquement relié ou pouvant être relié au tambour et présentant une bague d'induit (8) magnétiquement active, ainsi qu'un stator sectorisé (12) ne s'étendant que sur un secteur partiel inférieur ou égal à 180 degré du pourtour de la bague d'induit (8).
