Abstract

The cover (8) is U-shaped in cross section and covers a longitudinal segment of the tape (4) between the bindings. Its free ends are reinforced by a piece (18) which has wings (19) that are inserted in holes (17) in the sides of the cover. The sides of the cover have ribs (13) which reinforce it and define the holes that are longitudinal. The ribs have rectangular notches (17a) in their lower edges which hold the central part (20) of the reinforcing. The holes are also defined by the front and back walls of the cover.

Certes, il serait theoriquement envisageable d'utiliser, à la place de la section transversale en U, une section transversale plus stable, en forme de caisson, mais cette dernière est néanmoins notablement plus compliquée à fabriquer du point de vue techniques de moulage ; des parois latérales à double cloisonnement, munies de contre-dépouilles fonctionnelles, ne sont absolument pas réalisables, du point de vue techniques de moulage, dans le cas d'un profil en caisson. Cover element according to claim 2, having sides which materialize the branches of the U and parallel to which reinforcing ribs are arranged, element characterized in that the sides (10) and the reinforcing ribs (13) delimit the recesses (17) in the longitudinal direction of the covering element (8); and by the fact that the reinforcing ribs (13) comprise notches (17a) substantially rectangular, which start from their lower edge and merge in the recesses (17), the notches (17a) serving to receive the region (20) of each integrated part (18) which secures the two wings (19).

4. cover element according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the individual recesses (17) are also delimited in the transverse direction of the cover element (8), by side walls, that is to say -display by anterior and posterior transverse walls (14, respectively 16), and possibly by an inclined zone (15).
