Abstract

A hinged partition for a shower room, comprising a panel made of glass (22), or another equivalent material, associated with an articulation section (7) in which the fixed part (8) is designed to be fixed in an assembly section (3) secured to a wall (2). The opening part (9) of the articulation section (7) comprises a part (17) with a U-shaped cross-section which accommodates the panel (22), the arms of the said part (17) having tapped holes (20) for check screws (21). The vertical edge of the panel (22) engaging with the said part (17) is covered by means of adhesive bonding with an auxiliary section (23) into whose thickness the tips of the screws (21) are embedded, thereby immobilising the panel (22) with respect to the opening part (9) of the articulation section (7).
