Abstract

The invention, which presents certain improvements with respect to Application No. 9305453 lodged on 06/05/1933, relates, like the latter, to a device making it possible to transport one or more bags provided with carrying handles, facilitating their handling, preventing pain in the fingers and stopping the dispersion of the carrying handles. It consists of a handle (1) which can be grasped and which is provided with concave finger indentations (1b) separated by convex protuberances (1c) over its lower surface (1a). This part is prolonged by a suspension hook (2) via an intermediate part (3) curved back towards the inside. The suspension hook (2) comprises a U-shaped section comprising both the carrying surface (2a) which represents the point of gravity of the device, and a prolongation (2b), and an upper section or retaining finger (2c) such that the carrying handles are forced to remain on (2a) and are retained by (2c).

Description

Bag lifter handle
The present invention relates to a bag-lifting handle intended to facilitate the transport and handling of bags provided with carrying handles.

We know that when shopping in a big box store, we very often find ourselves in possession of several bags containing food, articles or products acquired. Likewise, when making successive purchases in several small stores or boutiques, one is generally led to carry many bags at the same time. These bags which can have various shapes, sizes and contents and carrying handles executed with different shapes and materials are difficult to transport by hand, because the latter must grip and hold firmly, during the duration of pedestrian transport, a number more or less important pairs of carrying handles.

On the other hand, when the bags have been placed, for example to house them in the trunk of a motor car, or to proceed with the selection or payment of purchases, we must, to grab them again, take them back hand by hand, taking into account that their carrying handles sagged and dispersed as soon as they were released.

Finally, under the effect of agitation for example in the trunk of a motor car, often the contents of the bags are dispersed and can even be damaged. So you have to fill the bags with items before you can lift them.

The present invention overcomes the drawbacks arising from the conditions in which the bags provided with carrying handles are transported and handled.

This objective is achieved, according to the invention, by means of a bag-lifting handle which is remarkable in that it comprises a graspable part or handle itself and a suspension hook rigidly secured to said graspable part and, moreover, formed in one piece with the latter.

Thanks to this device, it is possible to conveniently carry several bags with a single handle and, at the same time, avoiding hand pain.

Another advantage of this device lies in the fact that when the transported bags are placed, their carrying handles remain assembled by means of said device, the hanging hook of which retains them in the manner of a hook, so that the assembly said bags can then be instantly picked up without the contents being dispersed.

Finally, it is emphasized that the bag-lifting handles according to the invention are very simple, that it can be economically made from any plastic material having the desired rigidity and lightness, and that it also has reduced dimensions allowing its accommodation in a handbag or in the pocket of a garment.

Reference is made to said drawings to describe an interesting example of execution,
although in no way limiting, the bag-lifting handle which is the subject of the present invention.

It is remarkable in that it has an upper gripping part I forming the handle proper and a lower hanging hook in the shape of a "U" 3 rigidly secured to part 1, by means of an intermediate portion 3 concave towards the interior is connected at one end of the latter.

The suspenssion hook 2 is positioned below (lower face) of the handle 1 and advantageously comprises an upper bearing surface 2a in the shape of a "U" (concave inwards).

On the other hand, the upwardly curved end 2b of the suspension hook 2 is extended by a retaining finger 2c surmounting the bearing surface 2a. This retaining finger 2c is therefore disposed between the handle i and the bearing surface 2a, preferably parallel to the latter from which it is separated by a space ç whose width is provided to allow the passage and easy sliding of the carrying handles. bags p hanging from the hook 2. The handle 1 and the hanging hook 2 are arranged in the same plane. The intermediate part 3 as it is presented in FIG. 3 is larger in its upper part linked to the handle 1 while it narrows towards its lower part secured to the suspension hook 2.

The suspension hook 2 has a generally flat shape. The inner face 3a of the intermediate portion X, the inner face 2a and the underside of the hook retaining finger 2 have rounded angles in order to avoid exerting a shearing effect on the carrying handles of the bags.

The "U" shape of the hanging hook 2 is designed so as to avoid the sliding of the carrying handles at this level during the transport of the bags, by concentrating the overall weight of the bags at this point precisely. Therefore, whatever the number of bags, the bag-lifting handle remains in an identical and regular position, without any effect of the hand swinging forwards or backwards.

It will be understood that the bag-lifting handle which has just been described allows, as shown in FIG. 3, easy attachment and comfortable transport of several hanging bags, by means of their carrying handles p to the hanging hook 2 of said handle for lifting bags.
