Abstract

The invention relates to a mechanical assembly designed to keep birds away from trees by moving the branches of these trees in a clearly defined cycle. The said mechanical assembly is characterised in that it includes at least one device (1) consisting of at least two parts (2) and (3) which move in space with respect to each other and which are joined via their free ends (4) and (5) by means of fasteners (6) and (7) to at least two separate branches (8) and (9) so as to alter the distance (D) between the said branches and in that the two parts move slowly in one direction under the effect of a motorised link and move back abruptly in the other direction under the effect of the elasticity of the said branches and of the elimination of the said motorised link.
