Abstract

Convertible bag comprising a pocket (1) on one of its sides (7) and two handles which are each formed from a respective strap (28, 29) fastened at its two ends at two points on one and the same respective edge of the opening. It comprises means (47-50) for keeping the two lateral parts of the bag folded down over its central part, and removable fastening means (24-27, 39, 40) for the ends of the said straps, at the abovementioned four fastening points and at two other fastening points located along the side opposite that which includes the opening.
