Abstract

Battery-powered pocket electrical inhaler, consisting of a cylindrical casing B, for example made of metal or of plastic, ending at its top in an inhalation chamber 1 designed to match the shape of the nose and including, in combination, successively from top to bottom: a disc of absorbent material 2 highly impregnated with a volatile therapeutic inhalant product, a circular grille 3 interposed between the disc 2 and a miniature heating element 4 with ultrarapid heating, air inlet orifices 5 made in the casing B under the heating element, an outer switch 6, operation of which by the user either makes contact between the heating element 4 and the supply batteries 7, immediately causing heating of the said heating element and of the air sucked in by the user and entering through the orifices 5 of the casing and consequently evaporation of the volatile product impregnating the disc 2 towards the inhalation chamber 1, or switching off of the heating element 1.
