Abstract

The procedure consists of folding a sheet or strip of a material (I) with an appropriate degree of elasticity to form the back (4), a seat, a base (7) and two supports (10,13), one at the front and one at the back. Each of the bends in the sheet or strip material can be made from a number of folds which make narrow strips at an angle of not more than 30 degrees to one another, e.g. with three adjacent folds making an angle of 90 degrees. The seat and base can have a central support (9) of adjustable height between them to control their flexibility, and the rigidity of the two supports (10,13) can be controlled by a threaded telescopic element (15,16) between them. - on replie le troisième flanc ainsi obtenu vers l'arrière du fauteuil, de sorte à former, d'une part, une entretoise verticale à l'avant du fauteuil et, d'autre part, un quatrième flanc horizontal parallèle à l'assise,
- on replie le quatrième flanc obtenu vers le bas, sensiblement à l'aplomb du dossier, pour constituer, d'une part, une sous-assise de même profondeur que l'assise et, d'autre part, un cinquième flanc formant, à la verticale, la base du châssis,
