Description

The invention is in the field of furniture and more particularly the field of seats mainly comprising a seat and a folder delimiting between them a dihedron to receive the body of the user.

It relates to a relaxation seat arranged to vary the angle of the dihedron formed between the seat and the backrest, from a movement of the body of the user installed on the seat.

It relates to a relaxation seat comprising a chassis of the ground seat, a flexible member for supporting a user, means of articulation of the flexible support member relative to the frame, the hinge means comprising a carrier structure comprising seat and back support members, supported by the frame, hinged relative to each other and having sliding members circulating along guideways defined by corresponding rails fixed to the frame.

État de la techniqueState of the art

A seat is commonly composed of a seat and a folder delimiting between them a dihedron to receive the body of the user. Among the seats, those of relaxation are more particularly known organized so as to make it possible to vary the angle of the dihedron, in order to adapt extemporaneously comfort sought by the user.

Usually, the seat comprises two pivotally articulated elements relative to each other and respectively assigned to the seat and the backrest of the seat. Immobilization means easily reversible to maintain the seat and / or back according to different inclinations desired by the user, depending on the more or less elongated station in which it wishes to be supported by the seat.

According to a first type of relaxation seat, it is mainly composed of a chassis carrying rigid elements respectively forming the seat and the backrest. At least one of these elements is supported in an articulated manner by the frame, to give the rigid elements mobility in relative inclination relative to each other.

According to a second type of relaxation seat, a support member of the body of the user is a flexible member, such as a fabric or the like, forming the seat and the backrest. This fabric is attached to each of its base and top ends on rigid elements of a frame, respectively assigned to support the seating area and the backrest area of the canvas. These rigid elements are articulated to each other in their central zone to jointly bear the ground and to allow to change the general orientation of the fabric relative to the rest plane of the seat on the ground.

A problem posed for relaxation seats lies in the faculty offered to the user to easily and quickly change the angle of the dihedron defined by the seat and backrest. More precisely, such a modification of angle can be constraining, both with regard to the operation aimed at adjusting the amplitude of this angle, compared with the operation of immobilizing the moving elements.

The seat comprises a seat and a backrest constituting a flexible support member of the user. The seat and the backrest are pivotally mounted relative to one another on two lateral support elements, respectively of the seat and the backrest. The seat also comprises a frame comprising a pair of guide rails for tenons integral with the lateral support element of the seat and a pair of guide rails for tenons integral with the lateral support element of the backrest. The guide rails of the seat are curved, circular in shape and oriented upwards.

However, the seat can, in fact, operate without the assistance of jacks, which constitute balancing and braking devices. The necessary presence of these cylinders considerably increases the cost of producing the seat.

Objet de l'inventionObject of the invention

The object of the present invention is to provide a relaxation seat with the ability to quickly change the angle of the dihedron formed between the seat and backrest elements of the seat and maintain them in position, from a movement simple and unique operated naturally by the user with his body against these elements.

This object is achieved by a seat according to the appended claims and, more particularly, by the fact that:
  • the seat and backrest support elements are constituted by two frames respectively forming a seat element and a backrest element, respectively comprising a free edge of base and a free edge of vertex, and articulated by hinge edges respective,
  • the flexible support member is attached to the free edges of the support members,
  • the seat and back elements each comprise at least one inflection, between their free edge and their hinge edge, so that the flexible support member is kept at a distance from the supporting structure, above the seating element and in front of the backrest element, including when the user is installed in the seat.

Description de modes particuliers de réalisationDescription of particular embodiments

As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the relaxation seat is mainly composed of a frame (not shown) supporting a supporting structure 1 of a flexible support member 2 of the body of the user.

Le volume hors tout délimité par le châssis est un volume de réception d'un ensemble mobile composé de la structure porteuse 1 de l'organe souple de soutien 2.The chassis, not shown in the figures, is a usual frame in the field, formed from walls assembled together to delimit an overall volume of the seat. The overall volume defined by the frame is a receiving volume of a mobile assembly composed of the supporting structure 1 of the flexible support member 2.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, the flexible support member 2 consists of a deformable wall between its base ends 3 and vertex 4, said ends 3 and 4 being provided with fasteners 5 to the supporting structure 1 The deformability of the flexible support member 2 is in particular a deformability of its overall surface in a plane orthogonal to the rest plane of the seat on the ground.

Sur la figure 2, l'organe souple de soutien 2 est composé de lattes 10, 11, assemblées entre elles par des sangles latérales 12.In Figure 1, the flexible support member 2 is composed of two rigid frames 6 and 7 freely articulated to one another. The internal space delimited by each of the frames 6 and 7 is dressed by elastic suspension elements deformable, such as springs or slats. These suspension elements are anchored at their lateral edges on the uprights of the frames 6 and 7. For the upper frame 6, these suspension elements consist of cables 8 arranged in spring, while for the other, the suspension elements are These elements 8 and 9 are described by way of nonlimiting examples and may be interchanged from one another to the frames 6 and 7. In FIG. 2, the flexible support member 2 is composed of slats 10, 11, assembled together by lateral straps 12.

Alternatively, the flexible support member 2 may consist of a fabric or the like, or a web with braided straps or composed of transverse slats carried by side straps.

In FIG. 3, the supporting structure 1 generally comprises a seat element 13 and a backrest element 14, each constituted by a frame and arranged in the extension of one another so as to delimit a receiving dihedron of the body of the user. With the use of frames, the seat elements 13 and back 14 can fit into all styles of seat remaining hidden by the flexible support member 2, which provides a significant aesthetic advantage.

The seat elements 13 and back 14 are butted and articulated to each other (axis 15) at their adjacent edges 16 and 17, or hinge edges, to allow a variation of the dihedral angle that they delimit jointly. The flexible support member 2 is intended to be fixed to the corresponding free edges of the seat elements 13 and backrest 14, respectively base 18 and crown 19, opposite their edges 16 and 17 of articulation.

Each of the seat elements 13 and back 14 is equipped with sliding members 20 and 21, 22, such as rollers, sliders or the like. The same sliding member may be composed of several elementary sliding members associated. The sliding members 20, 21, 22 are attached to each of the lateral edges of the seat elements 13 and backrest 14 to cooperate with respective rails 23 and 24 integral with the frame, which delimit guideways of the sliding members. . The seat element 13 comprises a pair of separate sliding members 21 and 22, which are attached to one of its side edges, while the back element 14 has only one 20.

The sliding members 20, 21, 22 of the seat elements 13 and of the backrest 14 also constitute and advantageously stop members at the end of the corresponding rail, against the travel of the seat elements 13 and backrest. 14, respectively in the extreme positions of extension and withdrawal of the supporting structure 1.

L'utilisateur, prenant appui contre l'élément d'assise 13 et l'élément de dossier 14 de la structure porteuse 1 par l'intermédiaire de l'organe souple de soutien 2, provoque un glissement de l'élément d'assise 13 et de l'élément de dossier 14 le long du rail correspondant, à partir d'une déformation concomitante de l'organe souple de soutien 2.The user, bearing against the seat member 13 and the back member 14 of the supporting structure 1 through the flexible support member 2, causes a sliding of the seat member 13 and the backrest member 14 along the corresponding rail, from a concomitant deformation of the flexible support member 2.

The holding of the seat elements 13 and back 14 in a predetermined orientation relative to each other results from the antagonism of the support that take the sliding members 20, 21, 22 of the element seat 13 and the back member 14 against the guide rails 23, 24 corresponding, according to their respective guide paths along these rails.

The angle variation of the dihedron is a continuous value variation between the extreme positions of the seat elements 13 and backrest 14 respectively corresponding to positions of extension and of folding of the carrier structure 1.

The relaxation seat offers the right comfort. This comfort results from the support of the body of the user by the flexible member 2. It also results from the faculty offered by the continuous value variation of the angle of the dihedron delimited between the seat and the seat back. This comfort results still and especially from the simplicity and ease of the operation to change the angle of the dihedron, obtained from a simple support of the pelvis and / or the back operated by the user against the corresponding element of the supporting structure 1, through the flexible support member 2. Such a support naturally causes not only said angle variation, but also immobilization in any position of the seat elements 13 and backrest 14 relative to the chassis.

In FIGS. 4 and 5, the seat frame is equipped with guide rails 23 and 24 of the sliding members 20, 21 and 22 that comprise the seat elements 13 and the backrest 14, including a guide rail 23 for back member 14 and a guide rail 24 for the seat member 13. The guide rail 23 of the back member 14 defines a single guide path for the corresponding sliding member 20, while the guide rail 24 of the seat element 13 defines two intersecting paths for the respective guiding of the guide members 21 and 22 of the torque that comprises the seat element 13.

In FIG. 4, the guide rail 24, assigned to the seat element 13, is single and curved upwards at its ends, whereas in FIG. 5, the guide rail 24, assigned to the element seat 13, is composed of two elementary guide rails 25 and 26, one rear 26 (close to the articulation of the backrest with the seat) and the other before 25.

The guide rail 23, assigned to the back element 14, is inclined relative to the horizontal, that is to say relative to the rest plane of the seat, or by analogy of the frame, on the floor of the seat. an angle D of 45 ° to 55 °, for a length of 220 mm of the guide rail 23.

The guide rail 23 is fixed to the frame in an area corresponding to the median zone of the back element 14, situated between its crown edge 19 and its hinge edge 17 to the seat element 13. More in particular, the guide zone of the backrest element 14, via the corresponding guiding rail 23, is situated between the bearing zones of the user on the flexible support member 2, and in particular under the support area of the back and above the pelvic support area.

The guide rail 23 of the back member 14 provides a "back to wall" function, that is to say, it eliminates the back of the backrest during its tilting. This allows the seat against a wall without interfering with tilting.

The length and the angle of inclination of the guide rail 23 of the backrest element 14 are determined by taking into account, first of all, the space requirements of the seat, the guide rail 23 preferably having to be masked. . In addition, they take into account the length and inclination of the guide rail 24 of the seat element 13, or those of the elementary guide rails 25 and 26 that compose it. They take into account, in addition, the position of the various sliding members 20, 21, 22 that the carrier structure 1 comprises, and in particular the position of the front sliding member 21 assigned to the seat element 13.

In FIGS. 5 to 10, the elementary front rails 25 and rear 26 for guiding the seat element 13 are substantially rectilinear and inclined in opposition to the horizontal.

The rear elementary rail 26 is in particular inclined downwards, towards the front of the seat, with respect to the horizontal, that is to say with respect to the rest plane of the chassis on the ground, from an angle A of the order of 5 ° to 9 °, while the elementary rail before 25 is inclined upwards towards the front of the seat by an angle B of the order of 2 ° to 6 °.

The front elementary rail 25 is, moreover, preferably flexed forwardly and upwardly of the seat, so as to form at its forward end an angle C, of the order of 8 ° to 12 ° with the horizontal. This gives the carrier structure 1 a tilting effect backwards concomitantly with its extension.

According to an exemplary embodiment relating to a seat of common dimensions, the rear elementary rail 26 has a length of the order of 310 mm, the front elementary rail 25 has a length of the order of 320 mm, and the rail 23 of backrest has a length of the order of 220 mm.

In this exemplary embodiment, the rear sliding member 22 of the seat element 13 is located at about 40 mm from the axis 15 of articulation of the seat elements 13 and backrest 14, while the front sliding member 21 is located approximately 310 mm behind the base edge 18 of the seat member 13. The sliding member 20 assigned to the back member 14 is, in turn, located in a median zone between the vertex 19 and hinge edges 17 of the back element 14.

The opposite slopes of the two elementary rails before 25 and rear 26 of the seat element 13 on the one hand, the slope of the guide rail 23 of the back element 14 on the other hand, and the relative positions of the organs 20, 21, 22 sliding on the support structure 1 allow control of the seat angle and create a self-balancing effect of the seat, which remains stable in any of its positions. Any seat locking accessory is thus rendered useless, when the user stops the seat at any point of its race. This gives a real ease of use and simplicity of manufacturing generating savings.

L'inflexion 27 de l'élément d'assise 13 est, de préférence, située au voisinage de son bord de base 18.As shown in FIG. 3, the seat elements 13 and the backrest 14 each comprise at least one inflection zone, respectively 27 and 28, for keeping the flexible support member 2 of the elements 13 and 14 at a distance. Inflection 27 of the seat element 13 is preferably located in the vicinity of its base edge 18.

The zones 27 and 28 of inflection of the seat elements 13 and backrest 14 are arranged between their free edge 18, 19 and their hinge edge 16, 17.

The flexible support member 2 is thus kept at a distance from the supporting structure 1, above the seat element 13 and in front of the file element 14, even when the user is installed in the seat. seat.

The flexible support member 2 is in practice the operating member, causing the sliding of the seat elements 13 and backrest 14 on the frame. The inflections 27, 28 of the elements 13 and 14 then promote the deformation and mobility of the flexible member 2, such as its swinging and bending. Such deformation and mobility allow an accompaniment by the flexible support member 2 of the movements of the body of the user during maneuvering the carrier structure 1, which is thus avoided having to directly support.

Returning to FIGS. 6 to 10, the lift and the movement of the supporting structure 1 on the chassis are obtained in particular by the combination between the articulated arrangement of the supporting structure 1 of the flexible support member 2 and the assembly of sliding comprising the three sliding members 20, 21 and 22 forming the bearing points that takes the carrier structure 1 on the frame.

A slight thrust exerted by the user with his shoulders on the supple support member 2, associated with a movement of the pelvis forward, cause a forward sliding of the supporting structure 1 and its extension. Stopping such a thrust and movement allows a natural immobilization of the carrier structure 1 at a desired position. It will be noted the faculty offered a continuous variation of the positions of the carrier structure 1, so that each user, according to his morphology and his mood, can find the position that suits him best, from the vertical station in the extreme position of withdrawal from the supporting structure 1 (FIG. 6) to an extended station in the extreme extension position of the supporting structure 1 (FIG. 10).

When the carrier structure 1 is in any extended position, the user, to get up, sketch a corresponding movement, relieving the back forward. Without further action on its part, the carrier structure 1 slides along the chassis to its extreme retracted position.

Such a result is particularly obtained from an appropriate combination between the respective positions of the sliding members 20, 21, 22 on the carrier structure 1, the length, shape and position of the guide rails 23, 25, 26 on the frame, and the shape of the seat elements 13 and backrest 14 of the supporting structure 1. Such a combination follows. in particular the ease of sliding of the carrier structure 1 on the chassis in translation and tilting forward extension, and the automaticity of the folding movement of the carrier structure 1 caused by the restoring torque exerted by the holding in suspension on the frame of the carrier structure 1, when sliding in the retracted position.

The position of the front sliding member 21 of the seat element 13 determines the opening in maximum extension of the supporting structure 1, because of its participation in means of abutment of said structure 1 against the end of the elementary rail before 25, as well as the degree of tilting of the seat element 13 causing the tilting of the supporting structure 1 and the leverage effect necessary for the automation of the sliding towards the rear of the structure carrier 1.

The inclination and length of the rails therefore allow a specific adjustment depending on the type of comfort sought. The feeling of comfort is different depending on the position of the seat, which generates a wealth of use.

The invention is not limited to the various embodiments described above. In particular, the flexible support member 2 may be constituted by other similar embodiments, the desired structural qualities being to be deformable between its base 3 and vertex ends 4 through which it is attached to the supporting structure 1, in order to transmit to the corresponding edges of the seat elements 13 and backrest 14 the tensions to which the flexible support member 2 is subjected under the effect of the support that the user takes against this last.

The various values of angle and dimension of the guide rails 23, 24, 25, 26 are given as an indication, a variation in dimensions of the carrier structure 1 resulting in corresponding variations of said angle and dimension values.

The seat may comprise accessory locking means of the supporting structure 1 in any of its positions, to prohibit spontaneous modification of the angle of the dihedral when the seat is unoccupied. This spontaneous modification is particularly likely to occur under the effect of a support exercised at the top of the seat by an inattentive person when the carrier structure 1 is in the folded position.

These locking means may in particular be constituted by a member preventing the sliding of the seat member 13 on the frame, or by a cooperation between two cooperating interlocking members, respectively supported by the supporting structure 1 and the frame, said cooperation being implemented from a voluntary gesture of the user when leaving the seat.

The seat may also comprise accessory means for assisting in the sliding operation of the seat elements 13 and backrest 14 along the guide rails 23, 24 which are assigned to them. An electric jack can, for example, be interposed between the frame on which it is fixed, for example by clipping, and a support beam formed on the seat element 13. These provisions are intended to assist physically disabled persons or disabled, without departing from the general rule of the invention as stated relative to the relative mobility between the seat elements 13 and backrest 14 relative to the frame.
