Abstract

The package uses a flat support (2) made from relatively stiff material. Its two longest edges (13, 14) are aligned parallel to the longitudinal direction of the object. A protection shell (3) is affixed to the support. The support has two transverse tabs (15, 16) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the object. 4 - Packaging according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the flat support (2) is provided at the ends of its long sides (13, 14) with two transverse tabs (15, 16), mutually parallel, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the object (4) and projecting slightly towards the outside of the support, the length of the shell (3) being at least equal to the distance which, on this support, separates the two transverse tongues.

5 - Packaging according to claim 4, characterized in that the shell (3) comprises, at the ends of its lateral generatrices (25, 26) in at least one of its planes of symmetry, notches (19) of short length in which are engaged the opposite edges of the transverse tongues (15, 16) of the support (2) to perfect the relative immobilization of the shell with respect to this support.

6 - Packaging according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the support (2) is provided with at least one transverse tongue (32, 34, 35), arranged in one or more zones spaced along the long sides (13, 14) of the support, the opposite ends of this tongue, projecting from the apparent contour of the support, being provided to engage in facing slots (33, 36), formed in the shell (3) according to the lateral generatrices (25, 26) thereof in the plane of symmetry containing the support.

7 - Packaging according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that it is associated with a presentation means in the vertical position, consisting of a hook or a hanging rod (20) passing through holes in manhole (21, 22, 23) formed respectively in the support (2) and the two opposite faces of the shell (3) on either side of its plane of symmetry containing the support, this rod extending perpendicular to the plane of the support and preferably cutting its longitudinal axis.

8 - Packaging according to claim 7, characterized in that the suspension rod (20) comprises locking means closing it on itself, so that the withdrawal of the complete packaging vis-à-vis the rod can only be achieved after release of these means.

9 - Packaging according to one of claims 7 or 8, characterized in that the support (2) only has a through hole (23) for the hook or the hanging rod (20), this hole being formed in the one (15) of the transverse tabs of the support beyond the neighboring end of the shell (3).

10 - Packaging according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the shell (3) has any straight section provided that this section has an axis of symmetry extending in the plane of the flat support.

11 - Packaging according to claim 10, characterized in that the section of the tubular shell (3) is circular or elliptical, square, rectangular or other and preferably hexagonal.

12 - Packaging according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the support (2) comprises means suitable for immobilizing the object (4), these means being adapted to the shape and the nature of it- this.

13 - Packaging according to claim 12, characterized in that the means for immobilizing the object (4), in particular when the latter is constituted by a wristwatch, comprise two folding tabs (9, 10) separated from one the other substantially in the median plane of the flat support and capable of coming to grip between them the end of the element of the bracelet which comprises the buckle, the latter resting beyond the legs on the plane of the support, the other element being adapted to pass through two parallel slots formed in this support, passing successively above and below the latter.

14 - Packaging according to claim 12, characterized in that the means for immobilizing the object (4) comprise several pairs of folding legs, suitable for gripping the body of the object in several separate places, or even raised parts forming stops of support for the ends of the object.

15 - Packaging according to any one of claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the tubular shell (3) is made of a completely transparent plastic material, or an opaque material, optionally comprising one or more windows in one of its faces to discover the object (4).
