Abstract

The case is used for the archiving of documents, their transport and long term storage. It is typically made from a single blank piece of cardboard pre-cut and scored with foldlines for assembly. The divider assembly has two dividing sheets (10,12). These are made from cardboard or plastics and hinged about two axes (11,13). It is fixed inside the case to form three compartments of equal size. ADVANTAGE - Can be inserted inside standard archive case to give economic usage. Provides strengthening to the case.

Description

 The present invention consists of a device of articulated partitions for packing cases, in particular for archiving, transfer and preservation of archives comprising a receiving part of rectangular shape inside which are articulated two partitions compartmentalizing the container in three equal parts by volume.

 Such packing cases can be made in one piece from a cardboard sheet, by means of repressed or semi-cutting folds. This sheet consists in the vertical direction of a rear wall, a bottom, a front wall, two end faces. On the edge of the rear wall are provided two side walls precut on three quarters, intended during assembly of the box, to be inserted after cutting into the bottom of the box so that it is divided into three compartments equal in volume.

 This packing box is intended to be closed, once filled, by an independent and enveloping cover, with automatic assembly or by stapling of the flaps necessary for its formation.

 Such packing cases are delivered flat to the user, which implies a reduced bulk.

 The assembly of such packaging cases can be automatic and therefore extremely easy and rapid.

 The advantage of this device of articulated partitions lies in the fact that it is no longer compulsory for the user to have packaging boxes; these usually fit into the interior volume of archive cases on the current market.

 Indeed, the three compartments formed by the two side walls inserted in such packaging boxes allow the user to avoid the purchase of packaging boxes and therefore to make substantial savings.

 Finally, these side walls make it possible to stiffen the whole of this packaging case so as to increase its resistance to stacking and therefore its longevity.

The invention will be better understood with the aid of the description which follows, given solely by way of example and made with reference to the appended drawings, in which
- Fig. 1 is a front view, before folding, of a sheet of cardboard intended for the production of a packaging case according to the invention.

- Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the packing case made from the sheet of FIG. 1; and,
- Fig. 3 is a bottom view of the packing case of FIG. 2.

 Fig. 1 shows a precut sheet intended for the production of a box according to the invention.

This precut sheet can be made of cardboard or plastic. This pre-cut sheet has four side walls 1, 2, 3, and 4 intended to form, after folding, respectively the front, rear and side walls of the packing case.

 Wall number 5 is intended to be glued over its entire length to wall 1.

 The cutouts 6, 7, 8, and 9 constitute, once assembled, the bottom of this packaging case.

 It is specified that the walls and cutouts numbered from 1 to 9 are given only by way of example; this automatic mounting system can be substituted for others, these not constituting the invention.

 The two side walls precut on three quarters, numbered 10 and 12, are cut during assembly and pivot towards the inside of the archive case, the axis, being constituted by the walls 11 and 13. These come s' insert in a fold at right angles inside the archive case and consequently double the widths 2 and 4 of the archive case across their width.

 In Fig 2, there is shown a packaging case incorporating the device of articulated partitions according to the invention, after assembly. The walls 10 and 12 divide the container into three equal parts between them.

 In Fig. 3, there is shown, by way of example the automatic bottom 6, 7, 8 and 9 when the packing case is deployed.

 The assembly is carried out by a first folding of the part 9 on which come to rest on their width the parts 6 and 8, the locking of the assembly being effected by the fitting of the part 7 inside the part 9.

 On walls 1 and 3, it is advantageous to provide pre-cut handles so as to facilitate the handling of such packaging cases.

 CLAIM  Device of articulated partitions for packing cases, in particular for archiving, transfer of archives, as well as their long-term preservation, characterized by two partitions (10 and 12) made of cardboard or plastic sheets, articulated on two axes (11 and 13) fixed on a packing case, the whole compartmentalizing this said packing case in three equal parts in volume (fig 2).
