Abstract

L'implant comprend une tige (1) prolongée par une patie (1a) faisant office de col et apte à recevoir une tête hémisphérique (1b). La tige (1) présente au niveau de sa partie proximale, des agencements (1d) aptes à donner une certaine élasticité au niveau de la métaphyse du fémur. Les agencements sont formés par au moins une empreinte en creux (1d) formée à partir du bord latéral interne de la tige (1).

Description

Implant fémoral Dour prothèse de hanche.
L'invention concerne plus particulièrement les implants chirurgicaux, notamment les prothèses totales de hanche.
De manière connue, une prothèse de hanche présente une tige fémorale destinée à être impactée dans le canal médullaire du fémur.
La partie supérieure de la tige est généralement prolongée par une partie faisant office de col, conformée pour recevoir directement ou d'une manière rapportée, une tête sphérique apte à coopérer avec la cavité cotyloïde de l'os illiaque.
Ce type d'implant peut être utilisé pour remplacer l'articulation de-la hanche en cas d'arthrose.
II est apparu que pour avoir une fonctionnalité optimum et ne pas créer de douleurs, L'implant doit être le plus possible adapté au profil du fémur, et ne pas être totalement rigide, mais présenter une certaine élasticité.
Les différents types d'implants proposés à ce jour, ne donnent pas entière satisfaction pour résoudre d'une manière simple et efficace un tel problème.
L'invention s'est fixée pour but de remédier à ces inconvénients.
Le problème que se propose de résoudre l'invention est de créer une tige fémorale apte à résoudre ce problème. Dans ce but, il a été conçu et mis au point, un implant fémoral pour prothèse de hanche comprenant, de manière connue, une tige prolongée par une partie faisant office de col et apte à recevoir une tête hémisphérique.
Selon l'invention, la tige présente au niveau de sa partie proximale, des agencements aptes à donner une certaine élasticité au niveau de la métaphyse du fémur.
Pour résoudre le problème posé de donner une certaine élasticité à la tige, les agencements sont formés par au moins une empreinte en creux formée à partir du bord latéral interne de la tige.
Le fond de la ou des empreintes est profilé en fonction du rayon de courbure de l'implant au niveau de sa partie proximale.
Avantageusement, le fond de la ou des empreintes est semi-circulaire.

De manière connue, l'implant comprend une tige (1) prolongée par une partie (1a) faisant office de col et apte à recevoir une tête sphérique (il).
Selon une caractéristique à la base de l'invention, la tige (1) présente au niveau de sa partie proximale (il), au moins une empreinte en creux (1d) déterminée pour donner une certaine élasticité au niveau de la métaphyse du fémur. L'empreinte (nid) est formée à partir du bord latéral interne (le) de la tige. Avantageusement, la tige présente deux empreintes parallèles (nid).
Le fond des empreintes (nid) est profilé en fonction du rayon de courbure général de l'implant.
Comme le montrent les figures des dessins, le fond des empreintes (Id) est semi-circulaire.
De manière générale, le profil de la ou des empreintes est déterminé en fonction de l'adéquation entre l'élasticité recherchée et la rigidité de l'ensemble de l'implant. Cette forme d'empreinte découle directement des calculs d'élasticité réalisé par méthode d'éléments finis lors de la conception d'une tige sur mesure personnalisée au patient.
Ceci permet de personnaliser l'élasticité de la même façon qu'on personnalise la forme de la tige.
Après calcul, la ou les empreintes (nid) peuvent être obtenues par moulage ou usinage.
A noter que la forme et le profil de la tige ne sont pas décrits en détail car ils ne font pas partie de l'objet spécifique de l'invention. De même, L'implant tel que défini, peut présenter tout revêtement extérieur apte à favoriser sa cohésion avec le fût fémoral.
Les avantages ressortent bien de la description.

Claims (1)

  1. REVENDICATIONS
    -I- Implant fémoral pour prothèse de hanche comprenant une tige (1) prolongée par une patie (la) faisant office de col et apte à recevoir une tête hémisphérique (il), caractérisé en ce que la tige (1) présente au niveau de sa partie proximale, des agencements (nid) aptes à donner une certaine élasticité au niveau de la métaphyse du fémur.
    -2- Implant selon la revendication I, caractérisé en ce que les agencements sont formés par au moins une empreinte en creux (nid) formée à partir du bord latéral interne de la tige (1).
    -3- Implant selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le fond de la ou des empreintes (nid) est profilé en fonction du rayon de courbure de l'implant au niveau de sa partie proximale.
    -4- Implant selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que le fond de la ou des empreintes (nid) est semi-circulaire.
