Abstract

La présente invention concerne une tige fémorale autostable pour prothèse de la hanche, tant pour l'homme que tous autres animaux et en particulier pour le chien, dont la conception permet un bon ancrage dans le ciment avec effet anti-rotatoire et anti-retour.De forme générique classique, la tige fémorale (1) s'inscrit dans une forme troncônique comportant des évidements (ev), appelés à emprisonner le ciment, délimités par les ergots 12, dont les faces 121 exercent une rétention à l'arrachement soit un effet anti-retour, et le plot longitudinal 13 dont l'action des faces 10 combinée avec l'action des faces 11, du fond des évidements (ev), lui confère un effet anti-rotatoire.

Description

La présente invention concerne une tige fémorale autostable pour prothèse
de la hanche, tant pour l'homme que tous autres animaux et en particulier pour le chien, dont la conception permet un bon ancrage dans le ciment avec effet antirotatoire et anti-retour.
La forme générique des prothèses de hanche, planche 1, est connue. Elle est constituée d'un implant cotyloidien ou cupule (A) et d'un implant fémoral (B), assimilé à une tige plus ou moins longue dont le profil est incurvé, de telle sorte que son prolongement forme une partie cylindrique ou cônique appelée col (C), lequel peut être surmonté d'une sphère, complète ou coupée, appelée tête (D) 10 ou être cônique, destiné à recevoir une tête amovible Toutefois, comme le montre la planche 2, chaque tige fémorale se répartit dans des groupes biens distincts suivant sa forme propre ou sa finition: soit arrondie fig 1, ovalisée (a) ou cylindrique mais évasée en partie supérieure dite proximale (b); soit plate fig 2, de forme droite (c) ou évasée(d); de surface 15 lisse fig 1 & 2, ou avec des rainures fig 3 de formes et de tailles variables, soit longues, multiples (e) ou unique (f), soit courtes (g), soit mixte (h); ou fig 4 recouverte d'un revêtement madréporique (i) favorisant l'accrochage dans le ciment ou la repousse osseuse dans les interstices prévus à cet effet ou avec un plasma spray (U),ou encore fig 5 des aillettes proximales appelées flanges. 20 Toutes ces variantes constituent l'art antérieur, surtout pour les prothèses humaines, mais également, pour certaines d'entre-elles, pour les prothèses canines connues à ce jour, mais avec des risques d'instabilité dans le ciment, pouvant aller jusqu'au descellement de la tige fémorale.
La présente invention, permet de remédier à cet inconvénient, grace à des 25 caractéristiques spécifiques, telles que présentées planche 3: en effet, I'une de ces caractéristiques réside en ce que le dessin de la tige (1) s'inscrive dans une forme tronconique, fig 6 & 7, qui favorise son introduction dans le ciment (3), lui permettant de bien s'inserrer autour de ladite tige, sans laisser d'espace libre à l'interface ciment / prothèse 4.
Il est visible sur la fig 8 que chaque coupe de la tige s'inscrit dans un cercle 5 comportant des évidements (ev) de formes quelconques, avantageusement de bases triangulaires dont les cotés 11 & 11' peuvent être parallèles ou confondus avec le diamètre YY' dudit cercle 5; les autres cotés 10 & 10' peuvent être respectivement perpandiculaires aux cotés 11 & 11', et équidistants du diamètre 35 X X', lui même pouvant être perpandiculaire aux cotés 11 &1 1', formant ainsi, sur la partie antérieure, un plot longitudinal 13, dont la fonction première est de bien guider donc positionner la tige fémorale (1) dans la diaphyse 21 du fémur 20, mais également, étant bloqué dans le ciment 5, de définir un rôle antirotatoire dans le ciment 5. Sur la fig 9, il est mis en évidence que les évidements (ev) sont comblés en profondeur jusqu'à parfait contact avec les cotés 10 & 11 et 10' & 1 1' lesquels cotés, bloqués dans le ciment 5, vont empêcher la rotation de la tige fémorale (1) dans le canal médulaire 21.
Selon un autre aspect de la présente invention, la tige fémorale (1) comporte sur les cotés 10 & 10' et 1 1 & 1 1' des ergots 12 de forme quelconque.
Selon le mode de réalisation retenu, les ergots 12 relient le plot longitudinal 13 au dos de la tige 14. Ces ergots 12 ont pour fonction de pénétrer dans le foureau de ciment et, en particulier, les faces 121 exercent une force opposée aux forces 10 d'arrachement représentées par la flèche FA, conférant ainsi à la tige (1) une propriété anti- décellement dite anti-retour.
Suivant des modes particuliers de réalisation, ces ergots 12 sont répartis régulièrement de part et d'autre du plot longitudinal 13, mais de façon symétrique, de telle sorte qu'ils contribuent à former les limites des évidements de cotés 10 & 11 et 10' & 1 1'; les évidements proximaux étant limités en supérieur par la colerette 15, et les évidements distaux restant ouverts pour une bonne pénétration dans le ciment (3).
Suivant un mode particulier d'utilisation, cette particularité apporte un avantage quant à la tenue de la tige 1 dans le ciment (3); en effet il suffit de bourrer les 20 évidements (ev) avec du ciment, puis impacter l'ensemble dans le fourreau de ciment (3) pour que le ciment précédemment placé dans les évidements se mélange avec celui placé dans le canal médulaire 21, jusqu'à ne faire qu'un, assurant ainsi une parfaite homogénéité, et surtout en ne laissant aucun vide dans lesdits évidements, permettant ainsi d'assurer une parfaite tenue et surtout retenue aux forces d'arrachement FA, assurant ainsi le rôle anti-retour.

Claims (2)

REVENDICATIONS
1. Prothese de la hanche dont la tige fémorale (1) autostable est de forme courbe et tronconique, caractérisée par un plot longitudinal antérieur 13 bordant des évidements (ev), destinés à être comblés par du ciment, pendant ou avant l'introduction de la tige dans la diaphyse 21 du fémur 20, de façon à assurer le parfait contact des inter faces "ciment prothèse", et favoriser ainsi, la bonne tenue de la tige fémorale (1) dans le ciment, lesquels sont interrompus par des ergots anti-retour 12 reliant le o10 dit plot longitudinal 13 au dos de la tige fémorale 14.

Prothèse de la hanche selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que les évidements (ev) de la tige fémorale (1), sont formés par les cotés 10 perpandiculaires aux cotés 1 l'et 10' perpandiculaires aux cotés 1 1l', contribuant à définir son caractère antirotatoire, et les ergots 12 reliant le plot longitudinal 13 15 au dos 14 de la tige fémorale (1), disposés de façon à ce que les faces 121 exercent une force de rétention sur le ciment (3), soit un rôle anti-retour.
