Abstract

The racquet has a handle (4) which is aligned along the median longitudinal axis of the head. The axis divides the head into left and right parts (7,8). In each lateral plane perpendicular to the axis, the left part (8) is wider than the right part (7).The maximum thickness of the left side of the head (L2) is greater than the minimum thickness of the right side (L3). The maximum thickness is greater than that (L1) of the handle and the minimum thickness is less than this. The frame is thicker on the left side than on the right side.
