Abstract

This is a new type of lock for doors of caravans, motor homes and the like generally provided with a journal (T) integral with the fixed wall and with a block placed on the door consisting of two articulated elements; one of these two elements (R1) comprises a groove (G) for the fixed journal (T) and recesses (I) on which a suitable tooth (D) of the second element (R2) rests. The two elements are constantly in contact by a spring allowing the opening of the door when the second element (R) is turned by the handle which is connected to it. Description

At present, the doors of caravans, caravans and

  Another modest push of the door in the direction of the wall makes the first element (R 1) turn to the right again and brings the tooth (D) of the second element (R 2) into the nearest recess (I 3). the

  groove (G) of the first element (R 1).

  In this position, of total closure, the trunnion in

  gnon (T) is blocked between the groove (G) and the second element (R 2); the tooth (D) of the second element (R 2) is housed in the recess (I 3) closest to the groove and the spring exerts its maximum force in

original position (figure la).
