Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet une tige fémorale de prothèse de hanche. La tige selon l'invention comporte une tête (1) et dans le prolongement de celle-ci une portion proximale (2) trochantériodiaphysaire effilée suivie d'une portion distale (3) se terminant en pointe (4), la portion proximale comportant deux faces (5) et deux côtés (6). Selon l'invention: -les faces 5 et les côtés 6 de la portion proximale effilée sont bombés en arc de cercle, les sections successives de la dite portion jusqu'à la portion distale ayant sensiblement la forme d'ellipses de dimensions décroissantes, - la portion distale est effilée jusqu'à la pointe des sections successives passant progressivement d'une forme elliptique à une forme cylindrique, - les faces de la portion proximale sont dotées de rainures parallèles longitudinales de profondeur décroissante du haut vers le bas, - et la portion distale est lisse.

Description

La présente invention a pour objet une tige de prothèse de hanche.
Le document FR 90 11901 décrit une tige de prothèse de hanche qui présente un profil longitudinal effilé depuis la tête jusqu'a la pointe et qui comporte une partie proximale trochantériodiaphysaire effilée raccordée à une portion distale à épaisseur constante.
Selon ce document des rainures parallèles longitudinales de la portion proximale, elles-mêmes décrites dans le document EP-A 0135755, se prolongent jusqu'à la pointe de la portion distale.
L'objectif du brevet de l'art antérieur
FR 90 11901 est de réaliser une tige que l'on puisse retirer une fois en place même scellée sans affecter de manière néfaste les tissus spongieux ou osseux qui auraient pu se reformer.
La présente invention vise un perfectionnement aux tiges de l'art antérieur qui permette d'obtenir une réduction des contraintes au cimentage dans le cas où elles sont scellées et surtout une meilleure adaptation au fut phémoral et un meilleur calage dans celui-ci.
Un autre but de l'invention est d'éviter une adhérence du ciment ou de l'os à la partie distale.
Un autre but de l'invention est de réaliser une tige dont la forme permette la pose par ciment ou sans ciment.
A cet effet la tige selon 1 invention comporte une tête et dans le prolongement de celle-ci une portion proximale tronchantériodiaphysaire effilée longitudinalement suivie d'une portion distale se terminant en pointe.
Selon 1 invention les faces et les côtés de la portion proximale effilée sont bombés en arc de cercle, les sections successives de la dite portion jusqu'à la portion distale ayant sensiblement la forme d'ellipses de dimensions décroissantes ; la portion distale est effilée jusqu'à la pointe ses sections successives passant progressivement d'une forme elliptique ou pseudo-elliptique à une forme cylindrique ; les faces de la portion proximale sont dotées de rainures parallèles longitudinales de profondeur décroissante du haut vers le bas et du mileu de chaque face vers les côtés ; et la portion distale est lisse.
La forme elliptique à sections décroissantes de la partie proximale s' avère particulièrement apte à faciliter le calage de la tige et son appui dans la cavité fémorale tout en permettant, selon les variantes de réalisation une fixation avec ou sans ciment.
D'autres avantages et caractéristiques de l'invention apparaîtront à la lecture de la description donnée ci-après d'une forme préférée de réalisation de l'invention donnée à titre d'exemple et illustrée par les dessins joints dans lesquels - la figure 1 est une vue de face de la tige fémorale selon l'invention, - la figure 2 est une vue en coupe longitudinale, - la figure 3 est une vue en coupe transversale selon le repère AA', - la figure 4 est une vue en coupe transversale selon le repère BB', - la figure 5 et la figure 6 sont des vues en coupe transversale suivant les repères CC' et DD'.
Telle que représentée la tige fémorale de prothèse de hanche selon 1 invention comporte une tête 1 qui reçoit la sphère se logeant dans le cotyle, puis dans le prolongement de celle-ci une portion proximale trochantériodiaphysaire 2 et une portion distale 3 qui se termine par une pointe 5.
La tige vue de côté est effilée depuis la portion proximale jusqu a la pointe ainsi que vue en coupe.
La portion proximale 2 présente une courbure longitudinale qui coïncide avec la courbure du cintre obturateur du fémur par rapport au cotyle.
La face 5 et les côtés 6 de la section proximale, figures 3-4, sont bombés en arc de cercle en sorte que les sections successives selon les repères AA' et BB' de la figure 1 reproduits à la figure 3 ont la forme d'ellipses ou de speudo-ellipses de dimensions décroissantes du haut vers les bas c'est à dire depuis le début de la dite section jusqu'à sa jonction avec la section distale entre les repères BB' et CC'.
Les faces 5 de la partie proximale sont dotées de rainures verticales 7 parallèles.
Les rainures verticales 7 parallèles ont leur fond dans un même plan vertical.
De ce fait en raison de l'arrondi de la face 4 et de sa section de dimension décroissante de haut en bas les rainures sont de profondeur décroissante depuis le milieu de la face 4 vers le bord et depuis le haut de la face 4 vers le bas.
La portion distale 2 représentée en coupe aux figures 5-6 selon les repères CC' au sommet de la portion distale, et DD', à la fin de la portion distale avant la fointe 5 est effilée ses sections successives passant progressivement de haut en bas d'une forme elliptyque (figure 5) à une forme cylindrique (figure 6).
La portion distale 3 est lisse, sans rainures et de préférence polie.
La portion proximale 2 peut être rugueuse, par grenaillage ou avec un revêtement hydroxyapathique selon qu'elle sera mise en place avec ou sans ciment.

Tige fémorale de prothèse de hanche comportant dans le prolongement de la tête (1) une portion proximale (2) trochantériodiaphysaire effilée et une portion distale (3) jusqu'à la pointe (4) la portion proximale comportant deux faces et deux côtés caractérisée en ce que - les faces (5) et les côtés (6) de la portion proximale sont bombés en arc de cercle la section de la dite portion ayant sensiblement la forme d'une ellipse, - que la portion distale est effilée jusqu'à la pointe (4) sa section passant progressivement d'elliptique à cylindrique, - que les faces (5) de la portion proximale sont dotées de rainures (7) parallèles longitudinales de profondeur décroissante de haut en bas, - que la portion distale est lisse.
2. Tige fémorale selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce que les rainures (7) sont de profondeur décroissante du milieu des faces (5) aux côtés et du haut en bas.
