Abstract

Many products are packed in containers made up of a pallet topped with a cardboard. The pallet allows handling using forklifts while ensuring the mechanical resistance and the recovery of the charae.

Furthermore; In the packaging industry, it is increasingly sought to recycle the products used, and in the case of a pallet with stapled cardboard, there are three types of material: the wooden pallet, metal staples and cardboard.

It is known that the recycling of these materials is easy provided that they are previously separated; however in the present case the sorting and separation of these three materials is not simple.

The pallets are currently made of wood, and very often are burnt rather than recycled, but it is likely that we will move towards recyclable pallets; for example plastic.

On the other hand, the cardboard is currently recycled and it should be possible to separate it easily from the panel on which it is placed.

The object of the present invention is to provide a device for fixing a package, in particular cardboard, on a pallet, which eliminates the presence of staples. which allows easy assembly of the packaging on the pallet but also an easy disassembly of the latter, which provides total security with regard to the connection by making the assembly almost monolithic, which reduces the cost price by reducing the assembly time but also by eliminating the need for a bottom plate intended to protect the products, moreover this fixing device makes it possible to vary the resistance of the floor of the pallet, retains all the advantages of previous packaging and in particular allows to give the container a perfectly clean face intended for advertising and communication.

The present invention also relates to the container provided with this device.

To this end, the device for fixing a package, in particular made of cardboard with a bottom having at least two flaps according to the invention, on a pallet provided with soles, dice, at least two lateral crosspieces and a floor, is characterized in that it comprises at least one locking key and in that the flaps each comprise at least one hole in the profile of the key, designed to receive said key.

In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the key is a board identical to the boards which constitute the floor of the pallet.

According to another characteristic of the invention, each flap comprises two holes intended to be arranged on either side and above the cross member after folding this flap under the cross member.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, one of the two flaps comprises two holes intended to be arranged on either side and above the cross member after folding the flap under the cross member, while the other comprises a single hole on the inner side and above the cross so that the outer wall of this flap forms a stop.

According to other characteristics of the invention, the flaps have a length such that they are juxtaposed after folding on the key in the middle part so as to constitute a bottom, and in the case of four flaps, the flaps are juxtaposed two two so as to constitute a double thickness bottom.

On the other hand. according to another particular characteristic of the invention, at least two faces comprise a cutout of a part of their flap which remains in the extension of the plane of the face so as to come and hide the dice from the pallet.

As for the container according to the invention, it comprises a carton fixed on a pallet, in particular for the direct presentation in store of the products it contains and is characterized in that the pallet comprises at least four dice, two soles, two crosspieces and two boards forming the floor of said pallet, the carton comprises at least two flaps each provided with at least one hole and folded under the crosspiece; the hole of each flap being provided to be immediately above the interior side of the crosspiece.

The invention is described below. Very close to the appended drawings which represent - FIG. 1, a perspective view of the pallet according to the invention; - Figure 2, a view of said pallet with the carton and the key mounted on the pallet shown in broken lines.

- Figure 3 shows a perspective view of the cardboard mounted on the pallet, and - Figure 4 shows a sectional view through a vertical median plane passing through the longitudinal axis of the key.

In FIG. 1 a pallet 10 is shown, which includes four dice 12, two soles 14, crosspieces 16 as well as two boards 18 forming the floor 20.

The two soles are arranged under the dice so that the entire pallet rests on these soles thus freeing up a space between the ground and the crosspieces 16, which allows gripping with the aid of a handling machine. .

The longitudinal axis of the cross member is thus defined as being the axis parallel to the boards and the flanges, while the perpendicular axis is parallel to the cross members.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the pallet 10 receives a carton 22, to form the container 24.

This carton includes four faces including two longitudinal faces 26, 28 and two transverse faces 30 and 32. The face 30 will be called the front face and the face 32 the rear face.

 As can be seen in Figures 1 and 2.

the boards constituting the floor are arranged in line with the soles, that is to say on the upper face of the dice, so as to constitute the longitudinal edges of the pallet.

The carton 22 further comprises four flaps 34, 36 for the longitudinal flaps and 38 40 for the transverse flaps.

The longitudinal flaps have a length such that they are juxtaposed in line with the longitudinal line 42 and the transverse flaps have a length such that they are juxtaposed in line with the transverse line 42.

In Figure 3, there is shown outside of the container 24 a locking key 46, which is a board identical to the longitudinal boards 18, intended to enter the hole 48 formed in the rear transverse face 32 of the carton as well will be described later.

In this figure, we also note that the rear transverse face extends to the lower part of the pallet, that is to say to the right of the soles by two portions 50 of the rear transverse flap 40. 11 is the same. for the front transverse face 30.

In Figure 4, there is shown a sectional view through a vertical, longitudinal and median plane which shows in detail the mounting of the carton on the pallet using the key to form said container.

The cardboard being placed upside down, that is to say the bottom up, we place the pallet 10 on top and then fold the two transverse flaps over the respective crosspieces so that they perfectly fit the profile of said cross member and the key 46 is introduced through the hole 48 in the rear track. The key is then pushed through a second hole 52, formed in the same flap 40, then the key is pushed until it comes to right of the first hole 54 of the second flap, which is therefore on the inside of the cross member, after this second flap has been folded like the first
The key is always inserted in the direction of arrow 51, until the end of this key abuts against the front transverse wall 30 of the carton. The rear free end of the key is then in line with the rear transverse face 32.

The cardboard, fitted with its pallet, is then turned over and the free portions of the first and second transverse flaps 38 and 40 are folded down on the two side boards and on the key, juxtaposing so as to constitute a first thickness while the flaps longitudinal 34 and 36 are in turn folded down in juxtaposition so as to constitute a second thickness.

A complete container is then available, comprising a pallet surmounted by a cardboard, the cardboard being connected to the pallet by means of the flaps immobilized by the key.

During manufacture, it is of course necessary to provide a sufficient length of the first and second flaps and the necessary pre-folds so that they perfectly match the profile of the sleepers.

If you wish to remove the cardboard from the pallet, simply remove the key and perform the reverse operations described above to obtain separation.

The elements of the wafer have been shown in wood on the diagram but it is possible to make these elements in plastic if necessary.

We also note that the front face is perfectly clean and that all the dice and crosspieces are hidden since only the rear transverse face is provided with a through hole.
Otherwise. the fact of having a double layer of overlapping and crossed flaps makes it possible to stiffen the bottom which is also perfectly smooth, the mechanical rigidity being supplemented by the key.

In some cases, depending on the type of products intended to be palletized, it is possible to have two or even three or more keys, depending on the needs.

Fixing device for packaging, in particular cardboard with a bottom having at least two flaps (34, 36; 38, 40), on a pallet (10) provided with soles (14) of dice (12) of at least two crosspieces and a floor (20), characterized in that it comprises at least one locking key (46) and in that the flaps <38, 40) each comprise at least one hole in the profile of said key, intended to receive this key.  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the key (46) is a board (18) identical to the boards (18) constituting the floor (20).  3. Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that each transverse flap (38, 40) comprises two holes provided for blind arranged on either side and above the cross member after folding this flap under the cross member .  4. Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the rear transverse flap comprises two holes provided to be arranged on either side and above the cross member after folding this flap under the cross member while the second transverse flap (40) comprises a single hole 154) on the inner side and above the cross member so that the outer wall of this flap forms a stop.  5. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the flaps (34, 36; 38, 40) have a length such that they are juxtaposed after folding on the key so as to constitute a bottom.  6. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carton (22) comprises four flaps <34, 36; 38, 4à) which are juxtaposed two by two so as to constitute a double thickness bottom.  7. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the two transverse flaps (38, 40) have a cutout so as to leave a part (50) of flap in the extension of the plane of their respective faces (30 and 32) and which comes to the right of the dice so as to mask them.  8. Container using the fixing device according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising a cardboard fixed on a pallet, in particular for the direct presentation in store of the products it contains, characterized in that the pallet (10) comprises at least four dice (12), (two soles (14), two crosspieces (16) and two boards (18) constituting the floor (20) proper of said pallet, the carton (22) comprises at least two transverse flaps ( 30, 32) each provided with at least one hole (48, 52, 54) and folded under the cross member, the hole of each flap being provided for blind immediately above the cross member, and a key 46 intended to be introduced in the holes (48, 52, 54) of the flaps.
