Abstract

Device for counting the points and the phases of the game of tennis. It consists of a bracelet (Fig. 1) perforated with eight holes, of three plates ensuring rigidity (Fig. 3), of eight movable discs actuated with the fingernail (Fig. 2) and of a flexible cover plate revealing the desired figure via notches, all this being fastened by means of rivets which may be made from tubular brass or from plastic material.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for counting the points and the playing phases of the sport of tennis.

The concentration necessary during the game attenuates recent memory, this causes in meetings without referee uncertainties, errors and disputes.

The device according to the invention remedies this drawback by making it possible to score the points and the phases of play as soon as they are executed while they are still evident for the two or four players of the game.

It has a bracelet and movable discs functioning like a parking disc and worn on the wrist like a watch.

A pair (4) numbered 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, corresponding to the points of the decisive game or tie-break.

Fig. 3: Three plates (5) and (6) of semi-rigid plastic intended to prevent the curvature of the wrist from twisting the discs. These plates are drilled in total with eight holes for the passage of the rivets fixing the assembly.

This plate is also pierced with eight holes with the same size as the bracelet and the rigid plates, it has notches allowing the numbers to appear, each of these notches discovers an angle corresponding to the divisions of the disc.

Claims 1) Individual counter worn on the wrist to count the points and phases of play in tennis (points, games, sets, tie break) characterized in that it comprises a flexible bracelet pierced with eight holes and eight side notches (Fig.l) and eight mobile discs actuated by hand (1) for the points (2) for the games (3) for the sets or sleeves (4) for the tie break or decisive game, and three semi-rigid plates avoiding the deformation of the discs by the wrist (5 and 6), and a flexible cover plate pierced with eight holes, and eight notches revealing the numbers of the discs (Fig. 4).
