Description

The invention relates to a wall in modular plates, used, in particular for delimiting properties against sight, noise or wind.

The object of the invention is to provide a wall which is easy to produce by means of modular plates and which has good rigidity. Another goal is to make this kind of wall attractive, to give it a new aesthetic. To this end, a wall according to the invention consists essentially of two types of plates. The first type has a rectangular shape and is provided, on each length, with two rectangular notches respectively located at the ends of the plate at equal distance from the vertical edge. The depth of said notches is equal to a quarter of the width of a plate and their width is equal to its thickness. A second type of plate has a length and a width respectively equal to the length and to half the width of the first type of plate. I1 has, over a length, two notches located at each end, equidistant from the vertical edge, said notches having the same depth and the same width as the notches of the first type.

This assembly system allows you to adjust the height and length of the wall. The assembly of the plates gives the whole an original form which can be described as a succession of panels, which panels form two by two an angle of about 900. The wall then takes the appearance of a deployed screen.

The characteristics of the invention mentioned above, as well as others, will appear more clearly on reading the following description of an example of embodiment of the assembly, said description being made in relation to the drawings, among which:
Fig. 1 is a front view of the different types of plates constituting a fence according to the invention,
Fig. 2 is a perspective view of a fence according to the invention with three panels, and
Figs. 3a and 3b are respectively views from above of a wall with 8 panels and of a fence angle produced with plates according to the invention.

A wall according to the invention consists essentially of two kinds of plates. These are shown in Fig. 1. The first type of plate 10, hereinafter called large plate, has a rectangular shape and is provided, on each of the lengths 11 and 12, with two rectangular notches 13 and 14 respectively located at the ends of the plate 10 at equal distance vertical edges 15 and 16. Their depth is equal to a quarter of the width of a large plate and their width is equal to the thickness of the plates. The second type 20, or half-plate, corresponds to half, in the width direction, of the first plate 10 previously described. It therefore has the same length as the first plate but its width is divided by two and has only two notches 23 and 24 over a single length 21. The notches 23 and 24 are also respectively located at the ends of the plate at equal distance from the edges 25 and 26. Their depth represents half the width of a half plate 20.

We will now describe, in relation to the
Fig. 2, the assembly of the plates 10 and 20 shown in FIG. 1 with a view to constructing a wall, for example, with three panels 1, 2 and 3. A half-plate 20a is placed on the ground, notches 23 and 24 facing upwards, and then constitutes the base of the central panel 2. Aux ends of the half-plate 20a, large plates 10a and 10b are fitted into the notches 23 and 24 respectively. Each large plate 10a, 10b then forms an angle of 900 with the base 20a of the central panel 2. The two large plates 1 osa and 10b are then parallel but in opposite directions relative to the base plate 20a. We thus obtain the bases of the left 1 and right 3 panels. We continue mounting the wall by adding in this order the large plates 10c, 10d and 10e respectively to panels 2, 1 and 3 and above the plates 20a, 10a and 1Ob. "LPage 3
The interlocking of two plates 10 of two consecutive panels is then always done at 900. A new height of plates 10 is added and, once the desired height is reached, the assembly is completed by placing on the top of the central panel 2, a half-plate 20b, notches 23 and 24 turned towards the ground, which fits into the notches 13 and 14 of the last large plates 10f and 10g which in turn end the left 1 and right 3 panels. We could also finish the central panel 2 by a large plate 10 and the side panels 1 and 3 by a half-plate 20.

For the sake of aesthetics, the plates 10 and 20 constituting the ends of the wall have notches only on the side of the nested plates, the other side thus having a rectilinear appearance. Likewise, the wall has a more attractive appearance with an opening angle slightly greater than 900. We would then use plates with bevelled notches and no longer rectangular. The two types of plates 10 and 20 are, for example made of vibrated reinforced concrete and are obtained by molding or pressing. They can also be made of wood, thick glass, plastic, etc.

Depending on the dimensions of the wall to be produced, different lengths and widths of plates 10 and 20 can be proposed. These lengths and widths can be a multiple of a determined module, for example, 30 cm. The length of a 10 or 20 plate is then either 30 cm, 60 cm, or 90 cm, etc. The width can be 60 cm for the large plates 10 and 30 cm for the half-plates 20. The thickness of the plates 10 and 20 is, for example, 5 cm.

The advantage of the invention is that the user can modulate his wall according to his needs. Despite its modular nature, the wall obtained can have substantially the desired height and length.

We can thus obtain a wall with any number of panels 1 to n (Fig. 3a). It suffices to have n plates 10 and 20 constituting the bases of the n panels while respecting the alternation of a large plate 10 and a half-plate 20. The wall is raised to the desired height by performing the operation described above. . At the top of the wall, the alternation between half-plates 20 and large plates 10 is also necessary.

It is also possible to make a fence comprising a number of walls made, as previously with respect to straight walls, with plates 10 and 20 (Fig. 3b). At a corner of a fence, the interlocking of plates 10 and 20 to form the corner panels 1 ', 2' and 3 'is different from that of the wall panels. Indeed, the panels 1 'and 3' adjacent to the panel of the angle 2 'are placed so that they are parallel and in the same direction. Thus, walls are formed forming an angle of about 900 between them.
