Abstract

The object of the invention relates to the technical sector of ammunition for firearms.

It is known to use plastic wads with deformation capacity interposed between the powder charge and the projectiles in the cartridges for shotgun or shooting rifle
These flocks of different designs do not always thunder satisfaction with the range, penetration or grouping of projectiles. On the other hand, these wads are often nassive and therefore relatively heavy and of significant cost price.

 The invention is. fixed with the aim of achieving an efficient, light and economical padding usable both for hunting small game and for shooting with clay pigeon.

In order to make the object of the invention more concrete, it is now described in nonlimiting embodiments illustrated in the figures of the drawings,
The fill according to the figures and 2 consists of two identical parts (1) and (1a) in the shape of hollow hemispheres which are dimensioned to be back to back in a cartridge (C) following the powder charge (P). These two spheres have in their central part a groove interrupted by the thickness of two half-spheres or more exactly @ four cavities (1b), while at the two ends are formed recesses shaped funnels C c) in which the powder charge (P) is housed on one side and the projectiles (P1) on the other side.

 In the variant embodiment illustrated in FIG. 31, a ball (2) of the same material or of different material is interposed between the two half-spheres (for example housed in openings Cid) of the cap of the half-spheres.

 The flock (3) illustrated in FIG. 4 is of the closed or narrow diabolo type and has a deep peripheral central groove C3a) and end faces hollowed out in funnel profile (3b) leaving a core (3c) of dimensions in the center. As a variant, and as illustrated in dashed lines, the central core can form a ball (3d).

Note that in the same cartridge, two flocks (3) can be placed side by side or two flocks (3) on either side of the projectiles,
