Abstract

In such a device comprising a magazine (1) for short sticks, short wooden sticks which may have straightness defects, a means (2) with transverse grooves (3), constituting the bottom of the magazine and movable perpendicularly to the grooves in order to displace them between the inside of the magazine and a dispensing position located at the front, an arrangement according to the invention consists of an element (5) defining, at the front, in the magazine (1), an active edge (6) at the level of the groove means (2), which is not parallel to the grooves (3), so that it covers each of the latter only progressively during forward displacement of the groove means (2).
