Abstract
Description
Dispositif de collecte des eaux pluviales.Rainwater collection device.
The present invention relates to a device for collecting rainwater.
It is known that in known techniques it is desirable to recover rainwater by means of one or more receptacles of various shapes arranged at the outlet of the downspouts. These containers have several drawbacks, namely, their low capacity, and their almost systematic overturning in the event of heavy rain.
The invention therefore aims to address these drawbacks by proposing a device for collecting rainwater which can be produced industrially and which makes it possible to recover and store a large amount of water.
To this end, the invention relates to a device for collecting rainwater, characterized in that it comprises an underground structure consisting of a tank surmounted by a cylindrical pipe, the vertical axis of which is perpendicular to the horizontal longitudinal axis of the tank, and an apparent structure made up of at least two semi-cylindrical modules which fit into one another to form a conduit, said apparent structure being arranged coaxially and above the pipe of the underground structure and having a diameter slightly greater than said pipe of the underground structure.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the pipe is connected to at least one sump which constitutes the only source of water supply for the tank.
Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will become apparent on reading the description and the accompanying drawings, which description and drawings are of course given above all by way of indication.
Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the structu
re underground device; Figure 2 shows a view
side of the underground structure of the device; the figure
3 shows a perspective view of the component module of
the edge of the apparent structure; figure 4 shows
te a perspective view of the component module of the conduit
the apparent structure.
In accordance with Figures 1 and 2, the device comprises an underground or buried structure consisting of a tank 1 of horizontal longitudinal axis, of cylindrical, square or rectangular shape, of reinforced polyester, steel or concrete of variable volume and d 'a cylindrical pipe 2 whose longitudinal axis disposed vertically is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tank. This pipe 2 is connected by the orifice 3 to a pipe which is itself connected to the water recovery device, for example to the sump. The orifice 3 therefore constitutes the water supply orifice for the tank. Line 2 is provided with another orifice 4 placed above orifice 3, said orifice 4 constituting an overflow device. Line 2 is closed at its upper end by a cover 5 which, during periods of not in use, keeps the water contained in the tank 1 clean. This cover 5 is provided with a central hook enabling it to be lifted when it is desired to access the contents of the tank.
The visible part of the collection device shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 is made up of prefabricated modules (6, 7) preferably made of reinforced concrete and for example embellished with stones or facing bricks, said semi-cylindrical modules are embedding in each other so as to constitute a conduit and a coping, said elements being arranged coaxially and above the pipe 2 and having a diameter slightly greater than said pipe. The modules rest on concrete beams 10, said beams being arranged around the pipe 2. The modules can be surmounted by a framework forming a roof so that the apparent structure is in the form of a well.
Means for recovering the contents of the tank are arranged in the vicinity of the latter. These recovery means can be manual such as a bucket wound around an axis passing right through the modules 6, 7 delimiting a conduit, or automatic such as a pump which draws water from the tank.
