Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing ice cream in a cornet and the cap for implementing the method. The method of manufacturing ice cream in a cornet of conical shape made from a sheet of paper and aluminium composite material consists in placing inside a wafer (10) whose shape corresponds to that of the cornet, in filling the wafer with ice cream (1), the ice cream being poured through a spout forming a spike (11), is furthermore characterised in that it comprises: - a step of forming the spike (11) into a ball by placing on the cone a cap (3) comprising a bulge (30) intended for shaping the spike (11); - a step of folding down the edges (20) of the sheet forming the cornet over the peripheral rim (32) of the cap (3).
