Abstract

The invention relates to the treatment of an article made from non-metallic porous material with a view to preventing its becoming green. The article is treated by means of a surface solution of copper and ammonia solution in order to form a barely soluble copper hydroxide in the pores of the article after drying. The invention applies particularly to a roofing (covering) element, particularly a terracotta tile.
