Abstract

Coussin Médical ventral pour prodiguer un massage lombaire, le patient étant allongé à plat ventre. L'invention concerne un coussin caractérisé par l'association de deux appuis différenciés, l'un sur les crêtes iliaques du bassin du patient (11), l'autre sur l'abdomen du patient (13). Le coussin ilio-abdominal selon l'invention est destiné à placer le patient d'emblée, dans une position antalgique pour lui administrer un massage thérapeutique en kinésithérapie.

DESCRIPTION
COUSSIN ILIO-ABDO#INAL
La présente invention concerne un coussin médical utilisé en kinésithérapie notamment pour les massages de la région lombaire lorsque le patient est à plat ventre.
Les coussins cylindriques ou sen cylindriques donnent un appui abdominal (visant à réduire la cambrure lombaire ou la lordose lombaire) insuffisant, s'ils sont de petit diamètre, inconfortable s'ils sont de diamètre supérieur.
Les coussins plats permettent l'appui des deux crêtes iliaques du bassin, entraînent une retroversion de celui-ci, amorçant une délordose lombaire (décambrure) qui, bien que mieux supportée par le patient, reste insuffisante pour obtenir la réduction adéquate de la lordose lombaire.
Le coussin ilio-abdominal, allie l'avantage respectif des deux solutions précédentes, en en supprimant les inconvénients cités.
Le coussin ilio-abdominal comporte à la fois un appui horizontal ferme et bas pour les crêtes iliaques du bassin, et un appui semicylindrique plus souple et plus haut au niveau abdominal.
L'appui majeur du corps du patient se faisant au niveau du bassin, allège le poids au niveau de l'abdomen rendant celui-ci plus réceptif à la correction douce infligée par la partie semi-cylindirque plus souple et permet une délordose efficace et confortable,
La figure 1 représente l'aspect extérieur du coussin ilio-abdominal.

La figure 3 schématise la position lombaire d'un patient à plat ventre sans coussin.
La figure 4 schématise la fonction du coussin pour la délordose lombaire.
Figure 1 : le coussin, recouvert de skaï, a une longueur (1) de 38cm, une largeur (2) de 28cl.
La largeur de la partie horizontale (3) (appui iliaque) est de 8cm, sa hauteur (4) est de 6cm.
La hauteur (5) de la base du coussin au sommet de la partie semicylindrique est de 16cm.
Figure 2 : la base rectangulaire du coussin (6) est constituée de "bultex" de densité ferme.
La partie sei-cylindrique (7) est en "bultex" de densité moyenne.
Figure 3 : les crêtes iliaques (8) touchent la table, ainsi que l'abdomen (9) laissant libre cours à une accentuation excéssive de la lordose lombaire (10) provoquant l'augmentation des douleurs du patient.
Figure 4 : l'appui iliaque du coussin (11) entraîne la rétroversion du bassin amorçant la délordose lombaire par llhorizontalisation du sacrum (12)
L'appui adominal (13) complète la délordose lombaire d'une façon efficace et confortable entraînant une position relaxante et antalgique (14).
Le coussin ilio-abdominal est particulièrement destiné à permettre un massage lombaire thérapeutique, efficace et dans de bonnes conditions, notamment en kinésithérapie.

Claims (4)

REVENDICATIONS
1/ Coussin ilio-abdominal, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une partie
semi-cylindrique (7), destinée à fournir un appui abdominal (13),
reposant sur une base rectangulaire (6), < débordante (3), par rapport
à la partie semi-cylindrique (7) destinée à fournir un appui
iliaque (11).
2/ Coussin selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que la partie
semi-circulaire (7) est constituée en mousse type bultex" de
moyenne densité, alors que la base rectangulaire (6) est en
mousse de préférence type Bultex , de densité beaucoup plus ferme.
3/ Coussin selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le
coussin recouvert en matériau de type "Skaï" a une longueur (1) de 38
cm, une largeur (2) de 28 cm, et une hauteur (5), prise de la base,
au sommet de la partie semi-cylindrique de 16 cm, la hauteur (4) de
la partie débordante (3) étant de 6 cm, et sa largeur d'appui de
8 cm.
4/ Application du coussin ilio-abdominal selon l'une quelconque des
revendications 1 à 3, à la correction de la lordose lombaire et au
massage lombaire.
