Abstract

The present invention relates to a wristwatch comprising a case and on each side a support part fixed to this case, a part of which protrudes from the side wall of said case to serve as a support for the wound part of the bracelet. This wristwatch is remarkable in that the part 5 of the support part 4 projecting from the side wall 7 of the case 1 has at least part of its face inclined downwards and in that the end of the bracelet 2 is wound above a profiled insert 9 in the general shape of a loop having a slightly inclined upper part, insert 9 which is rigidly fixed to the support part 4.

Description

The present invention relates to watches

  bracelets and in particular improvements to the means of fixing a bracelet on a watch. It is known that a wristwatch has a case and, on each side thereof, a support piece fixed to this casing, a part of which overflows on its side wall to serve as a support

to the coiled part of the bracelet.

  The most known type of fixation of a bracelet on a watch is to wrap the bracelet around a

  axis maintained by at least one support integral with the watch.

  Advantageously, the bracelet is wrapped around the lateral branches of said T-shaped support, forming said axis mentioned above, while the central branch of the fastener is integral with the casing. When the bracelet is arranged in the plan of the boltier, it conceals the fastener or support, but when it is inclined relative to the plane of the watch, ie when the watch is placed on the wrist of the user , the recess provided between the lateral branches of the support,

  Figure 2 shows the different parts needed to attach the bracelet to the watch and illustrates the mounting of this attachment. First, the lower cover i7 of the housing 1 is removed. The fixing lug 6 of the support piece 4 is inserted into the orifice 3 of the casing 1. It is then fixed to the casing 1 by means of the two fixing screws S. Once this fixation has been completed, the cover 17 is put back in place by simple finger pressure or by means of fixing screws not shown in the accompanying figures. The bracelet 2 containing the insert profi-é c is engaged on said overflowing portion 5; then it is fixed to it by the fixing screws 12 which cooperate with the threaded orifices 11. The screws 12 allow the tightening of the lower strand 15 of the insert 9 against the lower face 10 of said part 5, making the rigid insert 9 relative to said support part 4.

  1.- Wristwatch having a casing and on each side a support piece fixed to this casing and a part of which protrudes from its wall to serve as a support for the wound part of the bracelet, characterized in that the part (5) of the piece -support (4) protruding from the side wall (7) of the casing (1) has at least a portion of its upper face inclined downward and that the end of the bracelet (2) is wound over the a shaped insert (9) in the general shape of a loop having an upper part also inclined, insert (9) which is   rigidly fixed to the support piece (4).   2.
