Abstract

The method, which is the subject of the present invention, consists in casting directly on the teeth orthodontic locks made of composite materials or other materials, by means of connection pieces which are sufficiently flexible to allow the part which bears on the tooth and which comprises the impression of the lock to match the shape of the latter. The casting is carried out by polymerisation of a composite material or of a resin. According to one embodiment, a lock is in the form of a hollow cylinder, of which one of the ends 1 comprises a hollow impression 2; the other end 3 is designed in such a way as to fit on an optical guide 4 or on any given support 5 depending on the method of polymerisation used.
