Abstract

The invention relates to installations for treating and maturing pieces of meat equipped with strings or with attachment means having the form of a ring in order to be attached to frames or to bars for transferring pieces to lines for processing or maturing. The gripping device comprises a first gripping unit which serves for attaching the sausages to a frame or to a carriage and also comprises a second gripping unit which serves for detaching the sausages from the frame or from the carriage.

Description

DESCRIPTION
The object of the present invention is a device for
taking sausages with a horn forming a closed ring, for an automatic machine, to allow the loading and unloading of sausages on and bSti.

The devices for loading and transferring pieces of meat, hooked to hooks coupled to slides integrated into airways, are already well known. These devices are equipped with a
catch device that takes the pieces of meat hooks or they are to transfer them and place on other hooks belonging to another
line of work.

These setting devices are usable exclusively for the transfer of meat pieces directly attached to hooks and are not usable
to remove the pieces of meat equipped with ropes
and which are hung on the batis or the pedals
used in ham and sausage factories.

This object has been achieved thanks to the gripping device, and of the present invention, characterized by the sausage-making device, equipped with a rope (42) forming a closed ring, for an automatic machine, to enable the loading and the unloading of sausages on and from the frame, characterized in that it comprises: a first setting group (11) which carries out the sampling of sausages from a catenary and moves and hooks them to a frame (10); a second setting group (12) which carries out the sampling of beti sausages and moves them on a conveyor (46) and vice versa.

Profoundly the first gripping group (12) comprises a fixed fork (14) and a gripper (95) connected to the fork, the fork (11) can be slipped into the ring formed by the rope (41) and hold this ring open during the transfer, the clip (15) can clamp and support or guide the sausages during the transfer.

Preferably, the second gripping group (12) comprises: a first upper gripper (29) with end arms capable of hanging a rope; a second clamp (24) under the first able to clamp and support and guide the sausage during the transfer.

Preferably the first upper gripper has parallel arms in the hooking position of the rope (41), the second gripper (24) has profiled end arms depending on the type of sausage to be tightened or guided.

In Figures 1, 2 and 3 the reference 1 indicates a base equipped with 2 longitudinal rails (2), on which can slide a carriage (3) set in motion by a hydraulic cylinder (4).

On the carriage (3) is mounted a frame or column (5) along which are the vertical rails (6) of the sliding support (7).

The sliding support is actuated, in its movement, up and down, by a hydraulic cylinder (8).

The sliding support is equipped with vertical slides (9) for the gripping device (in).

The gripping device (10) is moved, for its movement along the vertical rails (9), by a hydraulic cylinder (20).

The gripping device is formed by the first gripping groups (11), which will be better described later, which are used for fastening the products to the frame or the carriage (13) and by the second gripping groups (12). in opposite position parallel to the previous ones, which serve for the stall of products b ti or trolley (13a).

The two carriages are parallel to the glissornent axis of the carriage (3), facing each other, on the part opposite to the sliding axis.

On the base (1), at the stop position of the frame or the carriage or possibly the lifter, is provided a device (60), better visible in FIG. 11, for the rotation of 180 of the frame QU chariot or rudder and which allows the loading or unloading of one or both sides.

As regards fig. 4, each setting group (11) is formed by a fixed fork (14) below which is a clamp (15) formed by 2 supports (16) integral with a plate (30).

On one of the supports is stapled a bar (17) at the end of which is the rod of a cylinder (18).

Between the point on which this cylinder acts and the fulcrum (19) around which this rod (17) rotates, is stapled another bar (21), which controls the rotation of the bar (17a) around a point support (22) integral with the other support (16). The two bars (17> and (17a) are the gripping elements of the food product.

As to fig. It should be noted that the second setting group (12-) for unloading the belly is formed of a gripper (23) of the same type as the gripper (15) for taking the food product, above which there is a other clamp (24) formed as the previous but with the arms (25) open to hang a rope or other means of attachment of the products to the bdti.

The plate (30) is provided with two cylindrical rods (31) which can slide on supports (32) integral with the frame (10) to allow the plate (30) and thus to the slip groups, two cylinders are provided (33) and (34) acting on this plate.

Now we will describe the operation of the machine with reference to fig. 6, 7 and 8.

When the rudder (13a) arrives in the disengaged position, it is blocked in its lower part to remain in position. The carriage (3) moves, controlled by the jack (4), and is placed in the position described in FIG. 3.

At the same time as the movement of the carriage (3), there will be the elevation of the sliding support (7) controlled by the jack (8) so that the gripping groups are at the same level as the upper file of the products hooked to the rudder bar.

In the present description we will talk about the loading and unloading of hams, but it is obvious that the operation will be identical for any other food product equipped with a rope connected to the product so as to form a closed ring.

In the description of the operation, reference is made to the unloading or loading of a frame attached to an airway.1 msis carriages may be taken into account for loading and unloading.

It is at this moment that the jack (33) comes into play. It moves the second jack group from the position of FIG. 6a in the position of FIG. d. Thus, thanks to the jacks (18), the clamps (23) and (24) are closed which clamp respectively the leg (40) of the ham and the rope (41) linked to the same leg.

The rope is introduced into a nail (43) integral with the bar (42) of the frame.

At this time the ham is raised and moved away from the bar (42) at the same time so as to remove the string of the nail (43), controlled by the jacks (4) and (33). The carriage (3) returns to its initial position in FIG. 1 and the setting group gently places the ham on a fixed incline (44) (see Fig. 9) and has a movable edge (45).

To be sure that the ham is placed gently on this inclined plane according to the position indicated in fig.

It is provided the displacement of the gripping group towards the conveyor (46) by the control of the jack (33).

LF movable edge (45) is controlled by the jack t47) which pushes, with the open tongs, the ham on the conveyor (46) which takes care of taking it to the line of work.

 The unloading operation continues by repeating the above cycle until the sensors signal the presence of one or more hams on the catenary in the unloading position. In figs.

7a, 7b, 7c, 7d it will be described the operation of the machine that takes one or more hams catenary.

The first group of grips (11) will have to go with its forks (14) to the height of the catenary (50) on which are fixed the hooks (51) on which the ring of the rope tied to the leg is wound. This movement is carried out by the jack (8) (see Fig. 7a) The jack (34) moves the first set group towards the catenary so that the fork (14) enters the ring and the bars (17) and (17a) are in position to tighten the leg (see Fig. 7b) ..

At this time the closing of the clamp (15) and the lifting of the setting group which releases the rope hooks (51) (see Fig. 7c).

The setting group with the hams is moved away from the catenary (Fig. 7d) by the action of the jack (35).

The loading operation of the building whose phases are described in FIGS. 8a, Sb, 8c and 8d can then begin.

Regarding these figures, it is noted that the first group of pray is already positioned opposite the plane of the frame to be loaded with the fork (14) positioned higher than the level of the nail.

The gripper group is moved towards the frame so that the ring of the rope passes the axis of the nail line (see Fig. Sb). The first set group is placed downwards to ensure the winding of the ring to the nail.

Then the clamps (15) will be opened again (see Fig. 8c). At this time the pickup group returns to the frame (10) and the machine can start another unload cycle.

After loading and unloading a frame on one side, the frame is rotated to begin loading or unloading on the other side.

As regards fig. 11 rotation of the frame is achieved by releasing two stops (60) and operating the motor, which rotates 1600.

In this description the transfer of hams has been described, but it is obvious that this invention may be used for the transfer of any food product with closed ring-shaped hooks.

Claims (4)
