Abstract

Le dispositif de raccordement entre deux parties de chaussée 1a, 1b, séparées par un joint de dilatation 3, est constitué par une pluralité de couvre-joints 2 disposés bout à bout et dans lequel chaque couvre-joint 2 comprend au moins une zone déformable 4 s'étendant parallèlement au joint 3, comprise entre deux éléments de fixation 5a et 5b liés respectivement aux deux parties de chaussées 1a, 1b. La zone déformable 4 est constituée par une alternance d'éléments porteurs déformables 6 et de soufflets 7. De part et d'autre de chaque soufflet 7, sont situés deux éléments porteurs indéformables 18 appartenant respectivement aux éléments de fixation 5a, 5b. Chacun des éléments porteurs déformables 6 comporte une plaque métallique horizontale située à la partie supérieure du couvre-joint 2, portée par deux blocs d'élastomère déformables par cisaillement horizontal, disposés symétriquement par rapport à un plan vertical parallèle au joint 3. Chacun des soufflets 6 est constitué par une paroi en élastomère, continue, relativement mince, non plane. Utilisation pour améliorer la circulation des véhicules sur les joints de chaussée.
