Abstract

Ce pied réglable comprend : une base 12 montée à pivot sur un plan de travail; des bras oscillants formant parallélogramme 48, 50 articulés en bas sur la base et en haut sur une ferrure; une poutre horizontale 96 qui roule sur des galets de la ferrure et est maintenue à l'horizontale par les bras; et un ressort à gaz 112 dont le piston est articulé sur la base et le cylindre sur la partie centrale de l'un des bras. Le point d'articulation du ressort sur la base est réglable sur la longueur d'une came pour se rapprocher et s'éloigner de l'axe d'articulation des bras et faire ainsi varier le bras du moment exercé sur les bras par le ressort, pour compenser ainsi le poids du moniteur, qui varie avec la marque, aussi bien que la fatigue du ressort.
