Abstract

The present invention relates to means for fixing an accessory on a hair or the like constituted by four fixing members 2 in a "U" integral with the accessory 1.   OR ON A SIMILAR SUPPORT OF A NATURE

  The present invention relates to means for fixing a

  accessory on a hair or on a support of a similar nature.

  By accessory, we must understand any object that can be placed on the hair. This may include any ornament, a set, a cap or an element to make "ponytails" or other. Various means of fixing such

  accessories such as bars, clips or combs.

  The installation of a bar or clamp requires the release of a wick around which the bar is closed. This is inconvenient in the case of curly or frizzy hair. As for the comb, if its implantation in such a type of hair is easier, it does not, however, benefit from a sufficient grip to be maintained in place

in a stable way.

  The combs, bars and clamps are generally impractical for use, especially for the users realizing their hairstyle themselves. Moreover, they are not very flexible, because it is not possible to have them at any location on the hair. Finally, these fastening means are never completely masked once implanted in the hair, which is not always the best

effect on the aesthetic level.

  In order to overcome these drawbacks, the object of the present invention is to provide means for attaching accessories, in particular to a hair, which are easy to put in place while having a sufficient grip in the hair to ensure stable support. of the accessory, which offer many possibilities of use and which are of a stamp

important aesthetic.

  For this purpose, the means for attaching an accessory to a hair or a similar type of support that it concerns, comprise at least two fasteners integral with the accessory and each having a generally "U" shape of which one of the lateral branches has a protruding protrusion towards the inside of the "U" so as to define with the other lateral branch of the "U" a constriction provided to allow, during the setting in rotation about its axis of the accessory applied to the hair, the passage of a lock of hair in a light constituted by the interior space of the "U" and able to receive and hold it, each fixing member being substantially perpendicular to the hair, once accessory

implanted in the hair.

  The establishment of the latter by means of its fastening means is effected by applying its face having the fasteners on the hair, then by printing a rotation about its axis in the direction allowing the commitment of strands in chokes and lights

  This arrangement makes it possible to ensure the introduction into the lumen of the "U" -shaped member of a quantity of hair sufficient to guarantee the

  will be apparent from the following description of an exemplary embodiment of a

  hair accessory for making "ponytails" equipped with fixing means, with reference to the attached schematic drawing in which: Figure I is an exploded perspective view, Figure 2 is a longitudinal sectional view, Figure 3 in is a perspective view once implanted in the hair for the realization of a "ponytail"; Figure 4 is a longitudinal sectional view of the accessory of Figure 3 before fixing in the hair; Figure 5 is a view similar to Figure 4 after the fixation of

the accessory in the hair.

  Figures 1 to 5 show a hair accessory I for making a "ponytail", equipped with fixing means 2 compliant

to the invention.

  As is apparent from Figures I and 2, the accessory I is constituted by a frame 3 designed as a cylindrical tubular element of axis 4 open at both ends 5,6 and made of any suitable material and known per se, such as, for example, a thermoplastic, and by a cladding 7 fitted and fixed by gluing or the like on the tubular element 3 forming a frame. In this example, the covering 7 is made of fabric and comprises a cylindrical tubular portion 8 covering the outer face of the wall of the frame 3 and one end of which is closed by a wall 9 having a central orifice 10 circular and delimited by an elastic ring not shown in the drawing. This central orifice 10 is provided to allow the passage of a mass of hair 11 and to grip it elastically so as to. forming a "ponytail" 12, as shown in Figures 3 to 5. The wall 9 of the covering 7 partially closes the opening of the armature 3 delimited by the end 6. Of course, according to equivalent variants, it may not have a central orifice 10 and / or be decorated

  knots, toupee, flowers or other decorations.

  The end 5 of the armature 3 intended to come into contact with the hair 11 is equipped with four fixing members 2 constituting the

  fastening means according to the invention.

  They are made of an elastic material such as a thermoplastic and are distributed uniformly over the circumference of the end 5. Each of them has a general shape of "U" one of which 13 side branches 13,14 is fixed by bonding, welding or the like on the inner face of the wall of the frame 3 so that its branches

  13,14 are substantially parallel to the end 5.

  In the drawing, the lateral branch 13 of each fastener 2 in "U" is flush with the end 5 of the tubular element 3, but it

  can alternatively be shifted slightly towards the

laughter of it.

  The other side branch 14 of each member 2 in "U" has a boss 15 projecting towards the inside of the "U" so as to define with the lateral branch 13 fixed on the frame 3 a throttle 16 provided to allow, when the rotation around its axis 4 of the accessory 1 applied to the hair (FIG. 4), the passage of a wick 17 of hair 11 in a lumen 18 constituted by the internal space of the organ 2 in "U" (Figure 5). In this position, each member 2 in "U" is substantially

perpendicular to the hair 11.

  This light 18 is able to receive and retain the wick 17 of

hair 11.

  As appears in particular in FIG. 2, the outer edge 19 of the boss 15 of each "U" fastener is designed as an inclined ramp extending from the throat 16, that is to say the summit of

  boss 15, to the free end of the lateral branch 14.

  This ramp 19 gives this free end a pointed shape allowing them to easily penetrate the hair 11 and, furthermore, it is able to converge a mass of hair 11 gathered in a wick 17 to the throat 16 which can expand thanks to the capacity of the

  side branch 14 of the "U" to depart from the other branch 15 by deforming

  elastication and thus allow the passage of the wick 17 in the

light 18.

  Naturally, the four U-shaped fasteners 2 are oriented in the same direction on the circumference of the end 5 of

  the armature 3 with respect to the axis 4.

  The introduction of the accessory I on the hair 11 is carried out as follows: Since, in this example, the accessory 1 described is used to make "ponytails" 12, the first operation consists of to gather a mass of hair 11 in a bundle with the aid of a resilient ring disposed in the vicinity of the head, then to pass it through the central orifice 10 of the covering 7 by spreading its elastically deformable edges

in order to enlarge it.

  The accessory is then brought into a position such that the fastening members 2 are in contact with the hair 11 (FIG. 4). It is then sufficient to print a rotation to the accessory 1 around its axis 4 in

  the anti-trigonometric sense in the case of the example.

  The pointed free end of the side branch 14 of each member 2 "U" penetrating the hair 11, which are joined in a wick 17, the inclined ramp 19 of the boss 15 and the end 5 of the armature 3. This wick 17 crosses the constriction 16 which widens due to the elastic deformation of the branch 14 and then passes into the light 18 in

  which it is thus retained (Figure 5).

  As shown in Figure 3, the accessory 1 is then stably implanted in the hair 11. The "ponytail" 12 thus produced has a significant aesthetic quality. The fasteners are, in

  effect, invisible and only the decorative covering 7 of the armature 3 appears.

  It should be noted that it is preferable that the hair 11 be pulled

  to facilitate the installation of the accessory.

  It will be readily understood that to remove the accessory 1, it is sufficient to rotate it about its axis 4 in the opposite direction to that used for its introduction. The locks 17 of the fixing members 2 are

  then released and can thus remove the accessory 1 of the hair 11.

  Hair accessories that can be equipped with the fixing means according to the invention can obviously be made under

multiple different variants.

  Thus, the covering can be executed with different decorative materials and can be adorned with any ornaments.

  The frame may be of any shape other than tubular cylindrical

  for example, a tubular section with a square section.

  The fastening means according to the invention can also be

  associated with any cap such as a hat.

Claims (9)

- CLAIMS   1- Means for fixing an accessory (1) on a hair (1) or on a support of a similar nature, characterized in that they comprise at least two fastening members (2) integral with the accessory (1) and each having a generally "U" shape of which one (14) of the lateral branches (13,14) has a boss (15) projecting towards the inside of the "U" so as to define with the other lateral branch (13) of the "U" a constriction (16) provided to allow, during the rotation about its axis (4) of the accessory (1) applied to the hair (II), the passage of a wick (17) hair (11) in a slot (18) constituted by the inner space of the "U" and adapted to receive and retain it, each fixing member (2) being substantially perpendicular to the hair (11), once the accessory (1) implanted in the hair (II).   2- Means for attaching an accessory according to claim 1, characterized in that the outer edge of the boss (15) of the side branch (14) of each member (2) fastening "U" is designed as a ramp inclined (19) extending from the constriction (16), that is to say from the top of the boss (15), to the free end of the lateral branch (14) so as to give this last a pointed form allowing it to penetrate into the hair (11) or in a support of the same nature, this inclined ramp (19) being arranged to converge a mass of hair (11) gathered in a wick (17) to the throttling (16) able to widen by elastic deformation of the side branch (14) of the "U" having the boss (15) to allow the passage of the wick (17) in the light corresponding.   3- Means for fixing an accessory according to claim I or claim 2, characterized in that the fixing members (2) in "U" are constituted by independent parts reported and fixed permanently on the accessory (1).   4- Means for fixing an accessory according to claim I or claim 2, characterized in that the fastening members (2) in "U" are made in one piece with the accessory (1) so that the lateral branch (13) of the "U" having no boss (15) is part integral of the accessory (1).   5- Means for fixing an accessory according to any one of   Claims I to 4, characterized in that the fastening members (2) are   made of an elastic material such as a thermoplastic.   6- Means for fixing an accessory according to any one of   Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the accessory (1) is designed as   a cylindrical tubular element (3) whose one end (5) is provided with four fastening members (2) "U" uniformly distributed over its circumference and whose lateral branches (13,14) are substantially parallel to this end (5), these fasteners (2) being oriented   in the same direction of rotation about the axis (4) of the accessory (1).   7- Means for fixing an accessory according to claim 6, characterized in that each fastener (2) in "U" is an insert fixed by welding, gluing or the like on the inner face of the wall of the tubular element (3).   8- Accessory (1) equipped with fixing means according to one   any of claims I to 7, characterized in that it consists of   a cylindrical tubular element (3) open at its two ends (5, 6), one of which (5) carries the fastening members (2) and on which is fitted and fixed a covering (7) having an end wall (9) comprising a central orifice (10) provided to allow the passage of a mass of hair (11) forming a ponytail (12).   9- Accessory (1) equipped with fixing means according to one   any of claims I to 7, characterized in that it consists of any ornamental object.   - Accessory (1) equipped with fixing means according to one   any of claims I to 7, characterized in that it consists of a headdress.
