Abstract

Assembly pin which is self-locking by means of expansion and adjustable pulling-together load, amongst other things for human and animal bone surgery, and any other joint or assembly using a blind hole or a channel which is plugged at one end. One feature of this pin lies in the fact that it is used alone without anchoring components such as brads, pegs, dowels or other components passed through the bone or the object to be repaired.
