Abstract

Rucksack for sports articles for participating in tennis or the like, of the type comprising: - a back 1 with a pair of shoulder straps 2, 3 and the adjustment members 4 thereof; - an actual bag 10 integral with the back 1 and having a plurality of pockets; characterised in that the front face 13 of the bag 10 opposite the back 1 also includes: - on the one hand, a pocket 16 which is open over a considerable part of the width of the bag 10, intended to receive the head 21 of the racket 20; - at least one attachment device 17 intended to position and hold the handle 22 of this racket 20. Application: rucksack for tennis rackets.

Description

BACKPACK FOR SPORTS ARTICLES - FOR THE PRACTICE OF
TENNIS OR THE LIKE.

The invention relates to a backpack for sports articles for the practice of tennis or the like, such as
squash or badmington.

 Sports bags for playing tennis are well known. However, they have the disadvantage of being well suited for carrying by hand, but of not being suitable for carrying on the back, although more generally, the user, in particular young people, use the handles of the bag like straps of a backpack when they want to move by bike, motorcycle or the like.

 Backpacks are also well known. But they are not suitable for this type of product.

 The invention overcomes these drawbacks.

It relates to a backpack for sports articles for the practice of tennis or the like, of the type comprising
- a back with a pair of suspenders and its adjustment devices
- a bag proper, secured to the back, and having a plurality of pockets.

According to the invention, this bag is characterized in that the front face of said bag, opposite the back, also comprises:
- on the one hand, a pocket open on appreciable part of the width of the bag, intended to receive the sieve of the racket
- on the other hand, at least one fastener intended to position and maintain the handle of this racket.

 In other words, the invention consists in having in an open backpack an open pocket for receiving the sieve of the racket and a clip for positioning and holding the handle of the racket, which is then perfectly stabilized during the transport.

In practice, the bag includes
- a main pocket adjoining the back, to which there is access through a closable opening, arranged in a plane parallel to the plane of the back
- a secondary pocket, arranged on the front of the bag, to which one has access by a closable opening arranged in a plane orthogonal to the plane of the back
- Said characteristic open pocket, intended to receive the sieve, being disposed between this main pocket and the secondary pocket
- The attachment member is constituted by a closure system of the hook and hair type, well known in the trade under the registered trademark VELCRO
- the fastener is arranged on the top of the bag, but is offset from the general plane of symmetry of the bag.

 The manner in which the invention can be implemented and the advantages which result therefrom will emerge more clearly from the embodiment which follows, given by way of non-limiting example, in support of the appended figures.

 In known manner, the bag according to the invention comprises a back (1) generally padded and generally rigid, so as to give comfort to the user.

This back (1) comprises in known manner two symmetrical straps respectively (2) and (3) with their adjustment loop (4) and possibly a conventional support belt but not shown.

 The back also comprises in known manner a carrying handle (5).

The bag itself designated by the general reference (10) includes in order
- first of all, a main pocket (11), adjoining the back (1), to which there is access by a front opening (12) arranged in a plane parallel to the plane of the back (1), closable by any appropriate means such as in particular a double zipper. This main pocket (11) is essentially intended to receive clothing and shoes for the practice of this sport.
- the front face (13) of the bag (10) comprises a secondary pocket (14) disposed on the front to which there is access by an opening (15) which can also be closed by a zipper, but disposed in a plane orthogonal to the plane from the back (1). This secondary pocket is intended for example to receive the balls and the documents necessary for the user.

 According to a characteristic of the invention, between the main pocket (11) and the secondary pocket (14), a pocket (16) is left open on the top and over the entire width of the bag, intended to receive the sieve (21) shown in dotted lines in FIG. 1, of the racket designated by the general reference (20). The front face (13) also comprises, offset from the general plane of symmetry of the bag, an attachment member (17) intended to position and hold the handle (22) of the racket (20). In a practical embodiment, this fastener can be constituted by a hook and hair closure system successfully marketed under the registered trademark VELCRO. It can also be a device with tightening loops. Advantageously, this fastener (17) is disposed on the top of the face (13), but is as already said offset with respect to the plane of symmetry of the latter.

 It is easily understood that during the course of the range, the racket (20) is perfectly positioned and maintained.

It follows an ease for carrying backpack for the user who wishes to travel by bicycle, motorcycle or the like and in complete safety, which does not allow current solutions.

 If the example of embodiment was described in the version "tennis racket (20)", it goes without saying that this racuette can be intended for the practice of other sports, such as badmington, squash, etc.
