Abstract

The assembly consists of a number of strong boxes with an outer casing (1) of a particular thermal and mechanical resistance. The individual boxes are separated by walls (3,3') which they have in common with the adjacent box. The dividing walls are manufactured to the same thermal and mechanical specifications as the outer casing of the assembly. The doors (2,2' etc.) of the boxes have independent armoured hinge structures. ADVANTAGE - Improved security and insurance classification.

Description

The present invention relates to safety deposit box devices and more particularly their design, with a view to approval for the insurance cover of the goods they contain.

According to the current technique, safes can be insured for their content up to a certain value, depending on their classification with the National Center for Prevention and Protection.

Each classification corresponds to resistance to mechanical and thermal tests.

There are compartment safes, or mini vaults, whose outer envelope satisfies such a standardized classification, but given the number of compartments, the potentially storable values often exceed the insurance value corresponding to the classification of the vault.

To allow sufficient insurance coverage, it is therefore necessary to have a safe, the envelope of which meets tests of a higher classification and which therefore has a significantly higher cost price.

The device object of the present invention proposes to offer a safe which corresponds to a given classification and which allows to have a higher insurance cover.

For this purpose, the device according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises a fractionation of the trunk produced directly at the level of the main envelope of the latter, so that each compartment individually meets the standards of a given classification. and that the amount of insurance cover then corresponds to this classification multiplied by the number of compartments thus arranged.

The description which follows will allow a better understanding of the present invention with reference to the drawings which show two nonlimiting examples according to the invention.

Figure 1 shows the device comprising two compartments.

FIG. 2 represents a variant which comprises the combination of three safes in the same set.

As shown in Figure 1, the device consists of an outer shell (1) consisting of two safes which we see on the front part the two armored doors (2) and (2 '). The two boxes thus arranged in a single assembly are separated by a common wall (3) which meets the same criteria of mechanical and thermal resistance as the outer casing (1) and as the doors (2) and (2 ').

According to FIG. 2, a variant of the device is seen which makes it possible to triple the insurance cover corresponding to a classification.

The main enclosure (1) comprises three safes which are respectively closed by the armored doors (2) - (2 ') and (2 "), while only the walls (3) and (3') are common respectively to two chests of the assembly thus produced.

The invention will advantageously be used to manufacture a large safe which in fact corresponds to a set of small safes, each of which individually meets international recognition recognized by insurance companies and which allows superior coverage without having to buy several independent safes which would offer the same risk coverage.

CLAIMS.  1. Safe device meeting a classification which guarantees thermal and mechanical resistance, allowing a given insurance cover, characterized in that it consists of several safes secured to each other, and each meeting individually the standards of the classification in order to allow insurance coverage multiplied as many times as there are solidary boxes of the whole.  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that each box is secured to the assembly in that it has at least one wall (3) in common with box which is juxtaposed to it. Its other walls constituting the outer envelope of said trunk.  3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the walls common to two boxes (3) or (3 '), by their composition and their thickness, meet the same criteria of mechanical and thermal resistance as the outer envelope ( 1).  4. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that each door (2) (2 ') or (2 ") has its own armored hinges.
