Abstract

Description

"Food spoon"
The present invention relates to a spoon for food use.

 Spoons are utensils used in many applications to serve different foods, to disown them or to consume them.

 In particular, spoons are used to mix the sugar inside a cup of coffee, to homogenize syrup inside a glass, or to consume certain foods such as only soup.

 As part of a fast food, there is more and more use of utensils such as forks, knives or spoons, for single use, made of synthetic material.

It is also known, always with a view to simplifying and speeding up the restoration, of packaging a certain number of food products in the form of doses in disposable packaging. It is thus notably that the sugar, intended to be incorporated either in coffee or another b isson, or in other foods such as yogurts or fromage frais, is packaged in sachets for sugar or powder or in packages where they can be grouped into two pieces.

 This results in the need for restorers to stock up on one hand with utensils and on the other hand with doses of products. In addition, the doses of products, when they are like sugar, left at the disposal of consumers on a bar for example, are often deteriorated, for example if they are subjected to splashes of liquids, and therefore become unfit for consumption.

 Finally, it should be noted the high cost price of the various products and utensils used in fast food, which goes against one of the goals sought by this formula, - which is the economy.

 The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks.

 To this end, in the spoon that it concerns, at least the hollow portion is intended for housing a food product, means being provided to ensure the maintenance of the product inside the spoon before using it.

 Clear solution is particularly advantageous from an economic point of view since the spoon itself forms a container, which limits the costs of packaging and transport, limits the number of products to be supplied by a restaurateur, allows a perfect dosage of products, and prevents the degradation of products left available to consumers.

 According to a first embodiment of this spoon, the hollow part of the latter is removed, it is replaced by a spatula having a cavity allowing the holding of a piece, two pieces or three pieces of sugar.

 According to another form of execution of this spoon, - and to the extent that the hollow tart of it is cut to a certain shape to accommodate a piece of sugar.

 These techniques are interesting because they do not require the addition of a quick-setting syrup to hold the sugar cube, but simply a pinch system. They simply require placing the spoon and the sugar it contains in a protective packaging.

 3rd anyway, the invention will be well understood with the aid of the description which follows; with reference to the attached schematic drawings, showing by way of nonlimiting example several forms of execution of this spoon.

 The spatula shown in Figure @ is designated rar the general reference 5, made of synthetic material and ootenue by thermoforming or injection, have a horn 7 and 2 representing a spatula and a full handle 10. In this case, the sugar in lump which is intended to fill this spatula by a pinching system which is a cavity 2 and 3. Te 4 being an opening system for conditioning sugar I allowing the opening of the cavities 2 and 3.

 FIG. 2 represents a spoon 9 comprising a body 7 representing a hollow part and a handle II. In this case, the hollow of the spoon 7 having a cutout 8 allowing the accommodation of a piece of sugar 5.

The sugar cube 5 is held in place by the elasticity of the synthetic spoon of the spoon 9 and not by a bonding system.

 As is apparent from the foregoing, the invention brings a great improvement to the existing technique by providing a spoon and a spatula of simple design which also serves as a container for certain food products intended to be served or to be consumed at using this spoon or spatula, which is a very economical and hygienic solution.

 It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the sole forms of execution of this spoon or of this spatula described above by way of examples; on the contrary, it embraces all variant embodiments.

Claims (3)

 1) Spoon for food use characterized in that it is constituted by a spatula comprising a handle and an end provided with a cavity, serving to accommodate a food product, means being provided to ensure the maintenance of the product at inside said cavity.  2) Food spoon according to claim 1, characterized in that said cavity is in the form of a flat bottom provided with two edges so as to maintain the food product inside said cavity.  3) Spoon for food according to claim 1, characterized in that said cavity is in the form of an elastic slot allowing the pinching of said food product.
