WINDOW CABINET WITH MOBILE SHELVES
The present invention relates to display furniture for stores containing movable shelves.

 The shelves are suspended by their ends, by any suitable means, from two endless and parallel chains.

Said chains are placed vis-a-vis and describe a quadrangular course on the vertical plane. The chains are actuated simultaneously by means of an electric motor by means of pinions and countershafts.

 A disadvantage of this furniture lies in the difficulty of positioning the drive means, generally consisting of an electric motor, in the available space while providing the largest possible surface of the walls of the cabinet in the display case. The aforementioned difficulty is increased when you know that the electric motor and the drive train must be hidden to keep the appeal of the display cabinet.

 In existing display cabinets, the difficulty is only partially circumvented, in that the electric motor is generally placed in the lower part, which makes it necessary to modify the path of the chains and makes the permanent concealment of the lower part of the furniture. .

 The present invention makes it possible to remedy these drawbacks, and to obtain the greatest possible distance from the shelves relative to the periphery of the display cabinet.

 The invention comprises a substantially parallel pipe-de envelope which has two opposite transparent sides as well as the upper part and contains movable shelves whose drive means is positioned in a box, which box is placed in the center of the envelope on the horizontal plane.

 The display cabinet is also characterized in that the mobile shelves, suspended by their two ends with two parallel channels, run along the two transparent and vertical walls over their entire height and completely bypass their drive means enclosed in a box.

 The invention is set out below in more detail with the aid of drawings representing only embodiments, by way of non-limiting example.

 Figures 1 and 2-schematically show a display cabinet comprising a substantially parallelepiped envelope, which envelope has sides 1 and 2, parallel to the shelves, in transparent material over the entire height as well as the upper part 3, in which envelope are positioned shelves 4 which are suspended at their ends from two parallel chains 5 and placed on the vertical plane.  The chains 5 are driven by means of an electric motor 6 which is loaé in a box 7 placed substantially in the middle of the cabinet, which box 7 has a longitudinal shape and is positioned on the horizontal plane parallel to the shelves 4.

 The box 7 is fixed by its ends to the vertical and non-transparent walls 8 and 9 of the envelope, by welding or any other known removable means, for example with screws and nuts. The motor 7 actuates the chains 5 by means of return shafts 10, pulley 11, belts 12 and pinion 13 commonly used.

 The shelves 4 are maintained with lines 14 to small horizontal rods 15 which pivot on the chain links 5. For good aesthetics and to hide the drive train, a panel 16 is placed, parallel to the sides 8 and 9 which are not transparent. , on either side of the chains 5 between the latter and the ends of the said shelves 4. The panels 16 include cutouts 17 for the passage of the rods 15 and the return shafts 10.

 The box 7 is provided at the bottom, over its entire length, with horizontal shelves 19 fixed with brackets and screws.

 Lighting tubes 18 are distributed in the cabinet in a suitable manner and in sufficient number for good brightness and to avoid shadows.

 FIG. 3 represents a design variant in that the motor 6 comprises a drive shaft 20 with double outlet which directly actuates the side chains 5 for the movement of the shelves 4 by means of pulleys and belts.
