Abstract

 The present invention relates to a cu @@@ er e @ more particularly a spoon intended for people whose manual movements are wasted.

 The spoons are instruments intended more particularly for transferring more or less liquid or pulverulent substances.

 The difficulty is to keep the spoon horizontal during its journey to avoid overflowing.

 The present invention provides an instrument which makes it possible to take liquid and to transport it from one point to another without risk of overflowing and this fall; it relates to a spoon-type instrument comprising a handle and a hollow part, characterized in that the hollow part is partially covered with a surface element so that the hollow part forms with the surface element an open pocket.

 The spoon has a handle I, and at one end a hollow part 2 or spoon.

 The spoon is partially covered above by a surface element 3 which partially conceals the hollow 2 of the spoon.

 This surface element extends from the edge 4 of the spoon towards the opposite edge so that the volume located between the surface and the hollow forms an open pocket 5.

In an alternative embodiment, the surface is an integral part of the spoon: it can be molded in metal, or in plastic.  In a second variant embodiment illustrated in FIG. 4, the surface element and the hollow part have in longitudinal section a curved tubular shape, and in cross section a constant substantially elliptical section, in the manner of an ecoDe. the tube ione being closed. This shape can be obtained by molding and allows demoulding without difficulty by simple removal of the mold by sliding amans the tube.

 These first forms of realization give a spoon particularly suitable for children.

Indeed, in general, these after having taken a quantity of liquid contained in a plate, straighten the spoon more or less vertically, before bringing it to the mouth and, in the absence of the surface, the food falls. With the spoon according to the invention the liquid food is retained in the pocket 5 and does not fall back.

Spoon-type instrument for collecting and transporting liquid or other pulverulent object comprising a handle and a hollow part characterized by the fact that the hollow part (2) is partially covered with a surface element (3) so that the hollow part forms with the surface food an open pocket (5).  2. Spoon-type instrument according to claim 1 characterized in that the surface element (3) forms with the hollow part (2) a single piece of material.  3. Spoon-type instrument according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the pocket (5) has the general shape of a flattened funnel, the top (9) of which is partially in the step (1 ").  4. spoon-type instrument according to one of claims 1 or 2 characterized in that the surface element (3) and the hollow part (2) have in longitudinal section a tubular shape (8) eintré of elliptical section.  5.
