Abstract

The invention relates to a race circuit for miniature cars, controlled by computer. The circuit comprises a plurality of parallel rolling tracks 16, a plurality of motorised carriages 24 mounted in order to roll respectively on the said rolling tracks, each carriage comprising a chassis 26 equipped with at least two axles 28 which carry, at their ends, wheels 30 intended to roll on the corresponding track, with an electric motor 34 fastened onto the chassis and supplied with current by means of two brushes 36 which rub on two conductive wires 38 under tension fastened along the track, at least one of the said axles 28 being driven by the motor, and with a vertical rod 40 fastened onto the chassis and carrying a miniaturised race object 14, a horizontal covering plate 42 covering over the assembly of the rolling tracks, carriages and motors and which has slots 44 through which the rods pass freely.

La présente invention concerne un circuit de course pour voitures miniatures géré par un système informatique, du type de celui faisant l'objet de la demande de brevet NO 87 03 558 déposée le 16 Mars 1987. Le circuit selon l'invention comprend:
- une pluralité de pistes de roulement parallèles réalisées sous forme d'éléments parallélépipédiques en matière plastique disposés bout à bout pour former des boucles fermées parallèles entre elles,
- une pluralité de chariots motorisés montés pour rouler respectivement sur lesdites pistes de roulement, chaque chariot comprenant un ch ssis muni d'au moins deux essieux qui portent à leurs extrémités des roues destinées à rouler sur la piste correspondante, d'un moteur électrique fixé sur le châssis et alimenté en courant au moyen de deux balais qui frottent sur deux fils conducteurs sous tension fixés tout le long de la piste, au moins l'un desdits essieux étant entrainé par le moteur, et d'une tige verticale fixée sur le châssis et portant un objet de course miniaturisé tel que voiture, bicyclette, modèle d'animal ou analogue, et
- une plaque de revêtement horizontale qui recouvre l'ensemble des pistes de roulement, des chariots et des moteurs et qui présente des fentes s'étendant selon le même trajet que les pistes de roulement et à travers lesquelles les tiges passent librement lorsque les chariots se déplacent sur leur piste de roulement, les objets de course se trouvant au-dessus de ladite plaque de revêtement.The circuit according to the invention comprises:

Claims

1.- Race circuit for miniature cars, managed by computer, characterized in that it includes:

- a plurality of parallel rolling tracks (16), produced in the form of parallelepipedal plastic elements arranged end to end to form closed loops parallel to each other,

- A plurality of motorized carriages (24) mounted to roll respectively on said rolling tracks, each carriage comprising a chassis (26) provided with at least two axles (28) which carry at their ends wheels (30) intended to roll on the corresponding track, an electric motor (34) fixed to the chassis and supplied with current by means of two brushes (36) which rub on two conductive wires (38) under tension fixed all along the track, at least one of said axles (28) being driven by the motor, and of a vertical rod (40) fixed on the chassis and carrying a miniature racing object (14) such as a car, bicycle, animal model or the like, and

- a horizontal covering plate (42) which covers all of the raceways, carriages and motors and which has slots (44) extending along the same path as the raceways and through which the rods pass freely when the carriages move on their race track, the racing objects being above said covering plate.

2. A racing circuit according to claim 1, characterized in that the running tracks are fixed, for example by means of screws (18), on raising feet (20).

3. A racing circuit according to claim 2, characterized in that the carriages carry other sets of wheels (32) which are supported with the underside of the rolling tracks.

4. A racing circuit according to claim 2, characterized in that the support feet relating to the different running tracks are fixed on horizontal profiles (22) extending transversely relative to the direction of movement of the racing objects.

5.- Race circuit according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is covered with a roof (46) supported by pillars (48) and lit by lamps (50).

6.- Race circuit according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the covering plate (42) is supported by spacers (52) bearing on the other hand on the profiles (22).
