Description

PIN-TYPE SAFETY LOCK
The present invention relates to a security lock of the pin type, intended in particular, but not exclusively, to present maximum security against fraudulent openings, using instruments other than the correct key.

Great progress has already been made in this area, in particular with a view to making locks hookable using master-type instruments.

In particular, the pump locks are contacted, the barrel of which can only rotate when the key has been inserted, the key acting by pushing a set of latches armed with springs to allow the barrel to be unlocked. Under these conditions, it is the introduction of the key which gives the lock its operating structure allowing the barrel to rotate to act on the bolt. This lock can only operate when the desired key is inserted. However, the problem of security is not resolved because the key consisting of a solid body comprising determined roughness can be reproduced in a large number of copies. It suffices for a criminal to borrow the key to make satisfactory copies.

According to the present invention, the pin type safety lock, actuable by a key capable of turning a barrel, is characterized in that it comprises at least one fixed needle, one end of which is fixed to the palate of the lock, the key comprising at least one movable peg secured to a lug the end of which abuts against the needle to bring the movable peg opposite a light in the barrel.

Thus, it is the lock itself which will determine the operational structure for unlocking the key, that is to say the position of the movable member or members thereof, allowing the barrel to rotate.

The lug, armed with a spring, moves inside the key and the precise relationship between the front end of the lug stop and the front face of the pin, is not known. Thus, the only way to reproduce a key is to break it, only the manufacturer knowing the construction parameters. In fact, it is the length of a needle which determines the position of the lug and consequently of the corresponding movable pin.

Or the hands of the lock can penetrate either inside the internal bore of the key, or in the crown constituting the barrel of the latter.

Furthermore, the section of the needle or needles can have any shape so that the needles can only penetrate a given key.

In Figure 1 the key, generally designated by the reference 1, enters the trunk 2 of the lock so that the front end of the body 3 comes into contact with stops 11. During the introduction of the key into the lock, the movable pin 5 enters the trunk inside a groove 4 formed in the barrel 19. The movable pin 5 is integral with a lug 7 movable in translation inside the body 3 and armed by a return spring 8. Under the influence of spring 8, the bit 5 occupies, before engagement in the lock, the most forward position and, for this purpose, it can itself slide in a groove 6 formed in the body of the key.

When the key is inserted into the lock, as shown in Figure 1, the lug 7 comes into contact with a needle 9. The needle 9 is fixed by the second end, on the plaster 10 of the lock on a plate swivel mounted on the plasterboard.

The needle 9 thus exerts on the lug 7 a thrust which exactly defines the position of the pin 5 inside the lock. Of course, this position corresponds to an opening or opening 18 provided in the barrel 19, and the latter can then be rotated and protrude, as in known locks, the bolt or bolts inside the or the strikes.

When the needle 9 is not central relative to the key, it is possible to mount it on a plate driven in rotation by the key.

At this time, the key can turn inside the barrel, and then drive it in rotation.

Of course, the invention is only of interest if there are several panets and several needles, so as to obtain suitable safety. Likewise, a key according to the invention can be used in combination with a glitter and / or pump device, such as those which are currently known.

Figures 2 and 3 show a particular embodiment of a key intended to cooperate with a lock according to the invention. In Figure 2, we see a key at the end.

The front end of this key is closed by a plate 16 which is for example brazed on the body 3 of the key, the plate 16 comprising, in the example shown, openings 12 to 15, allowing the passage of four needles, , advantageously, the sections are different, as shown in the figure. Such a key may have only one movable bit. However, to enter the interior of the lock, the key must have the four required openings. Of course, the number of openings and their arrangement are not limited.

In the example shown in Figures 2 and 3, only the orifice 14 is used for the passage of a needle 9 acting on a lug 7, secured, by a link 17 movable in the groove 6, of a movable pin 5 Of course, in the case where the openings 12 to 15 are peripheral and not central, the needles must be mounted on a turntable rotating at the same time as the key to allow penetration of the panetons 5 inside the barrel. , and the training thereof.

Of course, the lug 7 can be offset relative to the corresponding pin 5 to increase the difficulty of a possible copy of the key.

It goes without saying that many variants can be introduced in particular by substitution of equivalent means without departing from the scope of the invention.
