Description

 CULTURE TRAY.

The subject of the invention is a culture tank used for the germination and growth of young seedlings of fruit trees and, in particular, a culture tank allowing the cutting of the old roots of the plants, the supply of fertilizers, the replacement of potting soil and transplantation of young plants.

Peach, grapefruit and cherry trees have so far been grown in gardens. It is necessary to germinate and grow the young plants of these fruit trees for a predetermined period outside the garden, in order to avoid deterioration of the garden, improve the trees and make the garden profitable by an early harvest. The germination and growth of young plants is done in a box-shaped container, which allows the use of loam and has transport advantages. When growing in containers for the germination and growth of young plants, the essential work of cutting old roots, preparing fertilizer and potting soil, adjusting humidity when adding fertilizer, cutting old roots and replacing potting soil are very complicated. In addition, when it comes to removing young plants from the tank and transplanting them, we see that the soil adheres to the interior walls of the tank and that the rootlets of young plants are in close contact with the interior walls. Not only is a large amount of work therefore necessary, but a considerable number of rootlets are unfortunately cut by the hoe, the hoe or the core.

The object of the invention is to produce a culture tank with which it is easy to cut the old roots, to add fertilizer and to replace the soil, in order to germinate and grow young plants, to transplant them easily. and avoid cutting hair roots during transplantation.

The culture tank according to the invention comprises a bottom, a plurality of partial side walls distributed with respect to the bottom, so as to be connected together by their edges and to the edges of the bottom in a detachable or openable manner.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, the bottom 4 and the side walls 2 have the form of cross-pieces 8 forming a trellis. The bottom 4 is formed by cutting at 450 the corners of a square to form four short sides 4b, forming an octagon with four other relatively long sides 4a, and by mounting the lower edges of a plurality of partial side walls 2a, 2b , 2c, 2d on the edges of the eight sides. In addition, in the embodiment described above, four partial side walls can all be opened from top to bottom relative to the neighboring side walls and can be laid flat once disassembled.

If the curved parts 7a, 7b are not formed on the two side edges of the partial side walls, these can be completely dismantled and stored flat. It is thus advantageously possible to reduce the size of the container of this embodiment for the purposes of storage and transport when it is not used, and the invention is not limited to the particular embodiment in which the partial side walls can be opened or detached in whole from top to bottom, the side walls being able to be partial only from the top to the middle, and not on their lower part.

 It is also possible to form an appropriate gap between the rear surface of the bottom and the soil surface to facilitate the lifting of the culture container or the evacuation of the water when it is to be transported or moved. It is possible to achieve this end by providing an interval between the bottom and the ground by placing the bin on horizontal beams or blocks arranged at certain intervals, without the rear surface of the bottom of the bin touching the ground when the bin, as described above, is handled as mentioned above.

Since the culture tank consists of side walls composed of a plurality of partial side walls and a bottom allowing to open and detach at least one of the partial side walls, it is possible to cultivate young plants with free from soil diseases, and improved plants can be grown simultaneously. It is particularly easy to cut the old roots, add fertilizer and replace the soil when you want to germinate and grow young plants. When we want to transplant the young plants, we remove or open the partial side walls to remove the adhesion of the soil on the interior walls and its contact with the rootlets.

The work of preparing the fertilizer, the growing soil and adjusting the humidity is facilitated and the cutting of rootlets from young plants with a hoe, hoe or hoe is avoided.

Since the ambient temperature acts directly in the culture tank, the young plants are quickly ready for transplanting or harvesting.

The culture tank of the present invention can be used for cultivation until harvest, without transplantation.
