Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to remove static electricity contained in the human body, by using a watch strap. It consists of a watch strap composed of two branches 2 and 3, fitted to a watch 1. A quick release fastener 4, of the press type, allows static electricity to be removed from the human body to an independent earth through an earthing wire 6 connected by the connector 5 to the fastener 4 of the watch strap, and connected to the independent earth by a plug 7. The device according to the invention is in particular intended for removing static electricity from the human body, under the best possible conditions of comfort for the user, when handling electronic circuits which are sensitive to the effects of static electricity.

Description

 The present invention relates to a device for eliminating static electricity contained in the human body.

 Traditionally, the elimination of the static electricity contained in the human body is notably obtained by a bracelet system specific to this use which is not well accepted by users, in particular by occasional users.

 The device according to the invention overcomes this drawback. Indeed, this device makes it possible to use a watch strap as a strap allowing the grounding of the human body in order to eliminate its static electricity. The user no longer has the need to put on and take off a specific conductive bracelet, but directly uses the bracelet of his own watch which he traditionally wears permanently and which he can easily connect to the earthing wires. permanently equipping workstations requiring elimination of static electricity.

 This device in fact comprises a watch bracelet composed of two branches (2) and (3) fitted to a watch (1). These two branches (2) and (3) must be made of an electrically conductive material, either metallic, or elastomer or plastic material made electrically conductive. A pressure-type quick connection system (4) makes it possible to connect this wristwatch to a grounding wire (6) via a connector (5) adaptable to the connection (4), and a socket (7) adapting to the earthing socket fitted to the work station.

 According to a preferred embodiment, the connector (4) is rather disposed on the branch (3) of the watch strap, so that the grounding wire (6) is placed outside the wrist of the user for better convenience of movement.

 According to a variant, the watch case (1) can also be made of plastic material made electrically conductive so as to achieve better electrical contact all around the wrist of the user and achieve electrical continuity between the 2 branches ( 2) and (3) of the watch strap.

 According to another variant, the watch strap can be produced in one piece.

 Figures 1 and 2 show the device according to the invention.

 Figure 3 shows a variant of this device.

 The device shown in Figures 1 and 2 comprises a watch case (1), provided with a watch strap composed of two branches (2) and (3). On one of the two branches (2) or (3), and preferably on the branch (3) there is fixed a pressure-type quick connection system (4). The loop (8) allows the two arms (2) and (3) of the watch strap to be closed. A grounding wire (6) makes it possible to connect the quick connection (4), via a connector (5) adaptable to the quick connection (4), to an independent earth socket by a socket ( 7) adaptable to the characteristics of this earth connection.

 In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the two branches (2) and (3) of the watch strap are replaced by a watch strap (9) made in one piece, provided with a closure system (10 ).

 The device according to the invention is particularly intended to evacuate, in the best possible conditions of comfort for the user, static electricity from the human body when handling electronic circuits sensitive to the effects of static electricity.

 1) Device for eliminating electricity from the human body, characterized in that it comprises a watch bracelet composed of two branches (2) and (3) electrically conductive fitted to a watch (1) and one of which branches is provided with a pressure-type quick connection system; 4) making it possible to connect one of these two branches (2) or (3) to the ground, by means of a ground wire (6) fitted a connector (5) adaptable to the connection (4) and a socket (7) fitting onto an independent earth socket.  2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the two branches (2) and (3) forming a wristwatch may constitute only one piece (9).  3) Device according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterized in that the pressure type quick connection device (4) will preferably be arranged on the side corresponding to the branch (3) of the watch strap so as to connect the ground wire ( 6) on the outside of the user's wrist.  4) Device according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterized in that the branches (2) and (3) of the watch strap, or the watch strap (9) are made of electrically conductive plastic or elastomer.  5) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the watch case (1) is made of electrically conductive plastic.
