Abstract

A flexible mitt 10 is provided, intended to cover over a hand 18 and a motor cycle handlebar 12 or the like. The mitt consists of a L-shaped casing 11 including a narrow part 13 which has two slots, such as 30A, 30B, one 30A of which is provided at the top to receive the stem 31 of a rear-view mirror, whilst the other 30B is provided at the bottom to receive cables, as well as a first opening 34 for receiving the handlebar 12 and a wide part 15 which has a second opening 32 intended to receive the hand 18 which holds the end of the handlebar. The narrow part of the casing is fastened to the handlebar 12 by means of a strap 24 and a buckle 26. A reflective covering covers the outer sides of the casing so that the mitt acts as a highly visible marker when used at night.

Claims

b) means (23) for fixing said narrow part (13) of the casing (11) to the handlebar (12).

2. flexible sleeve according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises a reflective coating (36) placed on the outer sides of said narrow part (13) and said wide part (15) of the envelope to serve as mark clearly visible during night use.

3. flexible sleeve according to claim 2, characterized in that said fixing means (23) comprises a belt (24) and a loop (26) fixed to said narrow part (13) of the envelope so as to surround the narrow part and said slots to fix the narrow part to the handlebars (12).

4. Flexible sleeve according to claim 3, characterized in that the envelope (11) and the belt (24) are made of durable vinyl material.

5. Flexible sleeve according to claim 4, characterized in that it also comprises a fur trim of

Nylon fixed around said second opening (32) of the wide part (15) to hermetically surround the wrist of the user and the end (21) of the sleeve of the garment worn by the latter.
