Abstract

Universal heating apparatus comprising an outer body 1 in the top part of which is installed an inner body 12 closed at its top part and delimiting a central cavity constituting both a reservoir for solid fuel and a distillation chamber, an annular combustion chamber 13-26 being provided between the vertical walls of the said outer and inner bodies, the bottom part of the latter including a plurality of outlet orifices 14 distributed over its periphery and emerging in the said annular chamber, the said apparatus furthermore comprising a liquid-fuel inlet 36 emerging in the top part of the said inner body, the base of which is arranged above a set 8 of superposed grids, characterised in that the said apparatus includes a closing-off wall 15 mounted so as to be able to slide against the lateral surface of the said inner body 12, and means 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 for operating this movable closing-off wall so as to make it possible to open or close, more or less completely, the outlet orifices 14 with which the bottom part of the inner body is provided, so as to regulate the flow of the distillation gases.
